    Online franchise is broken...

why can't you practice with your team? does it even show salaries anywhere? you basically just play your game wk in and wk out...that's it. I have looked but can't even seem to find where to sign FA's...did EA rush this thing or what?

The free agents can be found under player management. Just scroll through all the teams and one of the team names will just be free agents and you can sign them from there. It got the best of me for awhile too until someone told me about it.

There are no salaries. No contracts. No scouting. No practice. No career stats. No records. No nothing except for playing games and drafting (in which you already know the player's ratings).

It's not online franchise. It's online season that just keeps repeating itself year after year with a rookie draft included.

It isn't that bad. It would be great if they had salary cap and contracts, but it's still playable without that.

You're right. I can't complain about the biggest addition to Madden 10 being mortally flawed to the point where it's basically not what it was named, a "franchise mode."

Thanks for another incredibly original thread!

I haven't heard anything negative about online franchise in the past 3 weeks but this thread shined a whole new light on it.

                Wow.
