Brent Markovich??? (who the hell?)

Hey I fired up my ravens chise tonite and was on week 6 going to play the colts and i saw the most amazing thing on their roster they have a 1 year pro quaterback named Brent Markovich...

I have never seen a training camp invite on a one year 290k salary that darn good... Has anyone ever seen that in their 1st year?

Don't the ravens start off with a high rated GM? That really helps in getting lucky with the guys they bring into camp.

Yeah I had him but traded him because he didn't have a photo. I also had a receiver that came from the CFL who said he always wanted to play for Arizona.

Yea they do, but whenever I use them the GM never brings in anyone that good... They usally bring in bill mockington or larry drain and they both suck... One time he brought in rob johnson (ex-bills qb who never panned out to be anything...)

What was the receviers name maybe I have had him before?

I've seen this guy in my Bucs franchise. I'm on the zazzali path and Markovich just showed up as a free agent during training camp. I signed him and then released him at the end of the year. The following year he led the Raiders to the superbowl.

I'm starting to wonder if in addition to all the unique draft prospects created for this game, are there potential starters that only show up as training camp invites?

More importantly, these guys' names don't change.

Hey gun i think u might be onto something there i am on ozzie jones path agian and I decided to switch him to reciever then back and his overall shot up to 93!!! I decided to look and see if i could find anymore and pittsburgh had a dt named shaun beets out of weber state who was 6'5 and weighed 343lbs he is a 89 overall and same a one year player at 20 years old...
His tackle is 90 block shed 90 stregth 96 speed 42 accl 55 and lrn starts at 75/98...

There was a random RB that appeared in free agency on mine, wasn't in the Draft or anything, who's overall was mid 80's with a 90 POT. Didn't have a generated face, he had a blank gray picture.

I've used him before (I had a lack of QB). We was actually really beastly once he got his awareness up to the mid-80s.

For some reason that is the path i get almost all the time, why i don't know... I have had the english path once the zazzali path once but it locked up during year two and all of the others i get the ozzie jones path and i never finish the full path, because guys start getting funky looking and i know moost the sleepers... I really want the sweetney path, do i need to finish the ozzie jones before i get another path...

The draft path is randomly assigned on the Wed. before the regular season starts. You can save your game on monday and just start over again until you get the Sweetney path.

Theres always a made up player or two that enters the league randomly, usually from the CFL

I just had this guy come in. Said he "Is a Canadian QB that was a Falcons fan as a kid."

He signed a 1 year deal then hit FA and signed to the Lions. He's beasting right now. I call him "The Canadian Bullet"

wow i have never seen brent markovich but in my franchises there is this QB that wasnt in the draft and did not have a training camp invite his name is jayson shelt, weird name, i know. but this kid is age 20, and comes in at a 74 overall, not anything special. but then i switch my QB philosiphy from strong arm to mobile QB and his overall went up to 84 and pot to 98. when i picked him up i thought i would convert him to a WR but now he is my starting QB. his arm strength was 84 and could go up to 95, accuracy was 88/99 awareness 89/99 learning was 90/99, speed 98! agility 96, accelaration 97. he has one of the quickest releases ever. i cant remember his size but it might be the most impressive thing about him.
