Thoughts on owning Moss and Welker in a PPR league?

This is in the 'grandaddy of 'em all' league for me so I really need to think this through. I'm 99% sure I'm going QB/WR/WR the first three rounds.

Just got done with two keeper rounds offline, I got Brees in the first and Moss (much to my surprise) in the second. I have the 5th pick in the third round. The remainder of our draft is Wednesday.

Right now Boldin, White, TO, Welker, Bowe and Housh are the best next six WRs. I'm not going anywhere near TO and I know for a fact that Boldin and White are going in the four picks before me and the other two guys went RB/RB in the first two rounds so I'm sure they're taking a WR as well. So I wouldn't be surprised if Welker is gone but just in case he's there I'm curious on people's thoughts. Let's say I have the option of Welker, TO, Housh and Bowe - in a PPR league Welker is easily the best choice IMO but having Moss already makes it a difficult decision.

I'm sure you know how I feel about going QB first but I also know you're set on it (and sounds like you already did). In a non-PPR league I'd put Welker at the bottom of that group. In a PPR league I'd take: Housh, TO, Welker, Bowe. Remember Housh had almost as many catches as Welker the last 2 years and has bigger upside and more potential for TDs.

As for having both Moss and Welker, I had that combo last year and outside of the problem created by Brady going down, it's really not a big deal. They do different things so it's not like both can't have solid games at the same time. It's also not like the Pats won't be putting up stats. The only real issue is you'll need to make sure you have 2 quality WRs on your bench for the Pats bye week instead of just one.

      My opinion:
      White, Housh, Bowe, Welker, TO.

I'm a huge fan of White's and think adding Gonzalez opens the field up for him. I'm surprised you didn't put him on that final list, as he's really the only elite fantasy receiver in the bunch.

Read the 2nd sentence of the 2nd paragraph again.

My best friend has the #2 pick in the 3rd round and already told me he's taking White.
