I bought the game in June, and haven't put it down since then. It even made me put on a shelf MLB: The Show 2009. Close call which is the better sports game.

As often as possible .. I used to sim all expect the playoffs but changed to play call every game except preseason .. it added alot

i got the 20th aniversary editon, and i play HC a LOT more than madden

I suspect that some people quit playing when Madden came out. New rosters and all, and it's actually improved over the last few years I think. Some probably still lurk the board to be nice and answer questions and so on.

I still play. I like Madden this year pretty well, but for my money, HC is just a far better game. Although it does kinda get old seeing the same draft classes from HC in Madden. So much for needing to scout Maddens drafts in a lot of cases.

When I need to actually play a game, I play Madden. When I want to do franchise stuff, I play Head Coach. Can't stand the draft/free agency in Madden.

Yeah, that's the case with me. I still play HC09 - in fact I played it for about 6 hours last weekend - but now that Madden has a workable Franchise Mode, it's been cutting my HC time down some.

Coach Now Mode in Madden will be much better once the Broadcast Cam gets in (sometime in the next week, according to Ian), so I'll probably mess with that.

Plus sometimes I just want to get through a season faster, so Madden scratches that itch too. HC can take a long time to get through a season, because you really can't sim through without missing something crucial, like resignings, scouting, free agency, trades, etc to get to the draft.

I used to play this game religously but now not so much, i wish they would patch it with 2009 rookies. The year they decide to make head coach the hawkeyes dont have any good players in the draft then the year they dont make it shonn green and other good hawk players are in the draft.

I was into the game but, just couldn't finish seasons this game is so in depth but, I have been sticking w/ madden this season. I may have to get it again used.
