So here's the format for new posters, or those suffering from Alzheimer's or amnesia. You pick one team who you think will win each week. If they lose, you're out. If they win, you move on to the next week. You can not choose that team again this season.
By posting your Week 1 pick in this thread, you agree to the following rules:
1. This thread is for picks only; another thread will host discussion.
Please post your pick by posting the team's nickname (Eagles) rather than the city (Philadelphia) - this format just makes it easier for me to track picks. Any posts in this thread other than picks will be deleted. The offending poster will be forced to fight seven rabid pit bulls, and shall suffer electrocution and/or drowning upon refusal to do so.
2. You must pick every week and can not pick the same team twice. You have up until the week's deadline to post your pick, and you can change your selection up until this time by posting your new pick. A missed deadline ends your season.
3. The pool closes with the opening kickoff of the week's first game. When the week's first game is on a Thursday night, as is the case in Week 1, picks for the week are due before kickoff on Thursday.
4. You must pick in Week 1 to enter the pool. All Operation Sports members are encouraged to join, regardless of join date, post count, or any other perceived status symbols. However, no one will be permitted to join the pool after the Week 1 deadline closes, not even Steve.
5. All decisions regarding these rules and participation in the pool are ultimately mine.
