So from the time I inbound the ball, my oppent should be allowed to constantly ride my back all the way down court. It wouldn't be so bad if I had control of my player. That steal animation always pulls your momentum forward. They should take out that animation and allow me as an offensive player to have control. They could add a variety of animations without sacrificing control. I do agree with you that a foul should be called, but I have more of a problem with the repetiton of the animation and the total loss of control.

Certainly not a 2k article. Furthermore, it reads more like a wishlist for casual gamers. Nothing sweeter than staring down the defense, using effective dribble to fly high over your defender for a slam. And I'm not talking lebron or kobe, I'm talking josh smith, rudy gay, gerald wallace, the high flyers. I play on hof, been playing 2k for 9 years now. I don't have any of those gripes. 2k9 was crack in the console. 2k10, having read the espn preview, is stunning. I suggest you guys read that article, online improvements, etc.Comment

I think this is a great article but other thing that could be missing from the 2k series is real player speeds. I hate seeing people like Jermaine O'Neal catching up to LeBron James or even Mo Williams. Or even worse some one like like Yao Ming catching up to Ray Allen just because he wants to denfend the ball in a fast break situation.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: NBA 2K Tidbits: Necessary Improvements
There were some players who shot the ball with almost no control. Maybe Szczerbiak or Kenyon Martin (at least on the roster update I've been using). But yeah, most of the players released the ball when you "told" them.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB

This was a nicely well thought out article and I do agree with what was being said, these improvements would definitely make 2K better.Comment

Outside of the back and forth bickering of an opinion, this is a fantastic thread. I also agree with most, if not all, of the gripes. The FT boxout gripe is a huge one for me. I've been bone so many times because of that garbage. I figure it's a hard one to get perfect, but as long as I see some improvement I'm happy. I'm sure they'd acknowledge it as a problem.

to be totally honest... they did give u the chance to make buzzer beaters more in the last 2 installments.. i sim alot and build a team and let the computer play with them and it happen just enough times to say to yourself "hmm i got a chance" i dont know if that is good or bad but it is what it is... i would agree with dc that it was lowered slightly from 08 to 09Comment
