    Juqua Parker > Trent Cole?

Any other Eagles users experience this? I'm 10 games into my offline franchise and Parker has 11 sacks while Cole only has 1. I usually control the DEs and have absolutely no luck with Cole on the right side but regularly get pressure with Parker on the left. I thought maybe it had to do with the side so I switched them up for one half but Cole didn't even get close in his half at LE while Parker had 2 sacks at LE and also a few QB knockdowns from the RE spot. Even Babin who I picked up as a FA and play maybe 5 plays per game has 3 sacks compared to Coles 1.

Cole has better ratings than Parker across the board so I can't pin it on one dominant rating.

Does anyone else notice this or this just dumb luck?

I generally control Patterson and Parker is my leading sacker as well, but it's much closer for me. I'm 8 weeks into my 1st year and Parker has 7 sacks while Cole has 5.

Someone told me that it's because the CPU frequently slides their protection to the left in order to neutralize guys like Cole, Joey Porter, and Demarcus Ware. I have the same problem. One of the things I've noticed is that the CPU will rarely shuffle to the left while in the pocket. When pressured, it seems they tend to scramble right.

It seems like the logic for the QB's blind side might be reversed, because I get so many sacks on his right side, rather than his blind side.

True the QB does always shuffle to his right. But Cole's inside move from the LE spot just wasn't working the way Parker's was. Maybe I should try Cole at LE for a longer period of time though.
Maybe the CPU automatically slides the protection towards the highest rated DE though. So thats why when I moved Cole he didn't perform well at LE either. Thats smart from the CPU if thats the case but guys like Cole have been known to beat a double team every once in a while too though.

Yeah. I played like 4 seasons with the Eagles.

Parker was ripping it up. 23 sacks in a season.

It's interesting, I play as the Giants and manually control Tuck. In my online franchise, through five games, Tuck has 3 sacks, Osi has 1 and the entire team has 14. Osi doesn't even come close unless I send an overload blitz on his side, which is ridiculous. In real life Osi dominated tackles like Pace and Walter Jones, but so far I've played games against the Chiefs, Raiders, and Bucs and he hasn't even pressured the QB. I don't even know who those left tackles are.

As far as tendencies, both human players and the AI seem to prefer scrambling right. Weird... I've always preferred to scramble left as most of the time I see pressure on the right side.

After my 1st Eagles season Parker finished w/ 17 sacks and "Best DE" honors.

I was completely crushing w/ him...his speed and acceleration coupled w/ some good finesse ratings make him a beat @ LE. Cole finished w/ 7 sacks that year.

I'm definitely not experiencing that...Cole had 28 sacks in my first season in my offline franchise (I controlled him) and Parker had like 5 sacks.

Yeah im dominating with Parker whilst coles is getting nothing.

                    It is annoying me!

Where is the game going wrong?
i always thought the LT side was always too hard and RT too easy

I cant get any pressure with my RE's in my first season i started Victor Abiamiri in favor of Parker. VA is only a 69 and he had 26 sacks and Cole had 5

It's not ratings, It's not user control, it's the o line AI. When you rush 4, most of the time there will be a free offensive lineman. When your ends breaks free of the tackle, for some reason or another, the free man is much more effective at getting across to the RE than the LE.

Yeah, I noticed that too. In the first year of my chise, Cole didn't have a bad year(8.5 sacks); however, Parker had 15. That's unreal for him. I think it's because Cole is rated higher overall, and the fact that the RE goes agaisn't the LT which is the team's best pass blocker. Cole also gets doubled by either a back or a guard, a lot more than Parker. It would be nice to see the opposing offense change their approach and slide protection over to Parker, since his lighting it up, but oh well.

Hopefully that's something that a patch might clear up, along with a few other things like pursuit angles, receivers only releasing to the right, sim stats, etc..

I've noticed this too, I think it's been a problem in Madden the last few years. Antonio Smith gets the lions' share of my sacks while Mario Williams is usually shut down, even if I shift my pass rush Williams' direction.

Yea the only way to get use out of Mario Williams is to play him at left end. For some reason the RE never gets sacks in this game.
