On topic - That no look pass was the best part of the vid to me. Would have loved to have seen them redo D-Rose dropping Andre Miller

Off topic - Some of you really need to worry about getting the game and getting good at it instead of worrying about the company's marketing strategy. YOU know the game is coming out, isn't that all that matters?

Something I notice is that this move only works if you are holding the look down defense button or if you let the CPU play on ball defense for you... not saying it shouldnt be toned down because it shouldnt suck you in like that...

I said the SAME EXACT THING but DC and others disagree. I know what they are talking about, but if you're not locked down, you can fight your way out of it and recover. It does "suck you in" though.

I figured that out a while ago but it was one of those things where I'd tell u if u ask but wasn't gonna volunteer any info, feel me? lol

Whenever I saw someone setting that move up I'd just release the L trigger and back up. It negated that black hole affect...

Looks good but exactly like 2K9 imo. Hate to see the suck in animations from rose and rondo.

I'm hopeful because the new animations should address much of the "must play out animations" and/or suction animations.

It's going to be a great year for the 2k series.

Seems like it could have been a counter to the lock down defense. It sort of makes sense, as the defender shouldn't be able to ride you easily if you step back and set up.

I'd still like to see some variation to it. Someone put in all these streetball sizeups back in 2k8 thinking they would be cool and they weren't. Nice to see them going to a more realistic approach, but I need variation and player-specific size-ups. And not just for one or two players.

Here's a good example: Take D-Will and dribble with him in 2k9. He's one of the few guards that spins and goes behind the back with ease. Try to do that same thing with other PG's and you get a different result.

We need that same attention to detail in the sizeups. There are some nice ones in there (like the high knee-step sizeup and the in and out but other like the Alston sizeup (touching the defenders head) and ridiculous spinning behind the back sizeup need to goooooo....

Not trying to bash Unbiased Gamer here so don't delete, but when has Kendrick Perkins swatted anybody's s**t? He gets blocks, but when I think of someone getting swatted I think of going about 3 to 4 rows deep. He also didn't knock Rose on his a** because 1. It's a teaser for Rose, so it would be dumb to see that and 2. they probably just did a normal block with Perkins so he wouldn't go at him hard.

Anyways, LOVED the teaser, but like has been stated numerous times before, we need some real gameplay. The part with the Warriors made me do a double take to see if I was really watching a video game teaser. Welp, back to the Combine to satisfy my appetite for basketball for now until this comes out

Solid trailer....2k was always a great "highlight" game.
I need to see more. Any word yet if we're getting a demo this year?

I'm kinda feeling like I've seen this game already...Looks very much like 2k9 and the last 3-4 versions of the game. Like most I want to see in game video as opposed to a ccarefully manufactured highlight reel.

All in all though looks decent and kinda what I'd expect from 2k...I wish 2k would try to WOW me...I haven't been wowed by their game since 2k7

As far as I can tell from this work computer. The teaser was very good and I always liked that Roots song, its the best on the album. However, It still looks like 2k9 with new animations, and it did not excite me.

I agree w/u there. Also, I think they should add more animations 2 make moves off the L trigger size-up moves. They look real sweet but are more cosmetic than anything. Sometimes they'll do a simple cross-over, have the defender leaning and then kinda get stuck @ the end. They can just add more animations in situations like that 2 make transitioning easier and more life-like.

Not very impressed, appeared like 2k9 to me. How bout some diversity in your trailers. Im not interested in seeing just Kobe and Rose. I know 2k will put out a great game but give me more than those damn highlight reels

i've been a 2k fanboy for 9 years now but Live has really caught my eye and so far 2k has lacked that wow factor im looking for....
