glitch probably wasn't the best choice of word, but i mean it was an AI glitch,

his defender should NOT have slid back and let him dunk (even on an easy difficulty level).

it looked to me the AI messed up and did not dow hat it was surely programmed to do in that instance. that can be contsrewed as much as a glitch as say clipping or sliding for instance.

Re: NBA Live 10: Shooting & Driving the lane

I agree with what Sage has said so far

IMO its not the best of the videos shown but there are some good things in there like BRoy, Kobe (thanks Mike for showing us), and PP

As someone said, you let PP get to that right side elbow or the 3pt line you're pretty much toast becasue thats his spot if nothing else is

I think im a fan of the zoomed broadcast cam more than anything else right now ala the gamescon camera

It best shows the visuals and stuff.... and these trailers never seem to move like what we see either on the blog videos or from that demo.

Glad bball info is rolling out this week though. Im loving this week so far

        Positives
        -I like the dribbling moves
-Hard screen knocked down the defender
        -graphics have a vibrant look

        Negatives
-Players still have a slight hunch to their stance
-Players skiping down the court once they make a basket

My goodness does the lighting and graphics look stunning.

Also, the camera angle is f'n perfect.

The Josh Smith clip was horrific but the rest looked nice. Looking forward to the demo in two days!

I'm not so sure the Josh Smith dunk animation was all that bad. Wasn't great but a dunk like that could carry your momentum to the floor like that. Albeit not that drastically.

Man they got PP's jumpshot down. Other than the Raps' I'll be running with the Celtics.

                Ray Ray and PP's jumpshots....smoooooth.
My main problem was how he got to the rim..just didn't look right. I'll take it for what it is though. A trailer. Everything else looked great though.

                    - throw the LSTICK left (toward the baseline) about 2 steps outside the paint

Can you change in mid air the type of drive you want to do (a la Jordan mid-air switch against lakers), or do you pretty much have to decide the moment you press the shot button?

Kind of surprised they released this video because it shows a couple of glitches.

                      - at :17 'Melo drives the lane with Nocioni guarding him. When Nocioni runs into Hawes(?) he warps over about three feet.

                      - If you pause the video at the right moment right after that clip (~0:19) you can see all the players with no jerseys on and their midsections are invisible. w.t.f.

                      - not really a glitch but BRoy's skin is wayyyyyyyyyy too dark.

There may be others but I haven't looked at it that carefully. I don't expect the game to be perfect right now, but considering this is an EA-made promotional clip, I'm surprised they released it in its current form.

That thing with pausing the video seems to happen on any IGN video.. when you pause it, it's all crazy. Not something with the game, it has to be way the video is encoded or something... don't worry about that,

Do you know anything about basketball or are you just being a *****? That Melo move was spot on! I'm going to educate you on a lil somthin in case you didnt know.....that move Melo made is called a pro hop. Very legitimate move.

By the way, who breaks the videos down frame by frame???? I mean seriously dude....who does that....ur definately reachin...

As far as B-Roy, he looked acurate to me. It sounds like your on a witch hunt for glitches bro....no offence.
