How about EA fix the uniforms that are wrong with the current NFL teams before they come out with this AFL stuff. Now that would be something I would really get excited for.

Just watched the vid...and the uniforms are still messed up, jeeez.

Unless I'm mistaken, this uni is in the game. You have to mix and match to get it, as it's not set up as a default combination. I'm pretty sure I used this uni for a game in Minnesota. Pick the 60s white helmet, white throwback jersey and 60s white pants, all separately.

The white Cowboys throwback that's in the game is the 1994 jersey.

I could be mistaken, but I thought the Cowboys were just going to wear their current "throwback alternate" uniform for their games against the Chiefs & Raiders anyway. The white helmet/blue jersey/white shoulders thing, which is already in the game.

Ah the gaming world we live in today with DLC...

Something that would have previously been an unlockable or a 'cheat code' mode now sells for $6.99...

Same as Tiger Woods... EA develop all the courses then hold back a few from release and sell them seperately later as 'download content.'

Fight Night just did the same too right?

Oh, now I see, these are all EA games? Wow, what a coincidence.

Slow down son....everyone does DLC - not just EA. But we've been down this road before in this very thread.

In looking at this picture - was Bellicheck to busy to be in this picture? He's the only coach not present.

And by the way..the Chargers Powder Blues are the greatest uniforms like ever! (and I 'm not even a Charger fan)

It's funny because throughout this thread you've made comments like you get paid triple figures from EA and you've been incorrect in mostly every post.

Now I laugh that you realize the DLC that you backed up the entire thread is not 100% right and you are questioning how they could have one logo correct and the other one wrong...

And you wonder why most consumers here are upset with EA (and their charges)...

I dont play football games or anything but this sounds like a great idea for DLC and I'd pay for something like this in a heartbeat. I play alot of basketball games and man having classic teams with authentic color presentation, etc... is a terrific idea.

I dont see how anyone could complain about this

Because you are being charged $7 and you aren't getting classic teams. The whole thing about this isn't that it isn't free, to me at least. The whole thing is all of these "additions" in this DLC are not hard work. They are about a half day of work for these people... the sepia color presentation is a simple color filter on the screen. All of the otehr bells and whistles are simple bitmap changes. The unis, which are not 100% correct by the way, are also not new models or new anything, it is simply a different texture on their current uniforms and half of them are simply different colors. It should not take more than a day for a professional graphics artist to do everything that is in the DLC, the way I see it.

That's why people are complaining about this. You aren't getting classic teams, you are getting classic uniforms to put on the current teams.

also, for nba 2k9 you can download classic rosters and you can use them with the large amount of jersey options they have in NBA 2k. And if you are really pining for the brown tinted presentation then adjust your coloring on your TV and voila you have what you think is their terrific idea.

I do not hate EA. I just don't understand the love for a company that is treating their customers like they do.

The thread didn't get closed/locked because of comments about the DLC it got closed because people were personally attacking others about things totally unrelated to the DLC.

If I can't voice my opinion and replies to comments on my opinion in an online sports video game forum then I don't see what the point of even having the forum is if each post has to be worship of EA.

I was actually helping the guy out since he said he would like to play with classic rosters and jerseys in an NBA game. I simply pointed him in the right direction. The fact that I am getting yelled at by you for that is pretty ridiculous.
