Some players (MLB Gerald Hayes) get knocked out for the game on their first drive as a Bronco, but FS Tanard Jackson decided to step in front of a Joe Flacco out route and take it back for a TD.

Not a bad way to make the front office believe that you were worth trading the franchise WR for.

Two other Broncos had INTs, (DJ Williams even took his back for a TD), the pass rush brought a lot of heat on Flacco, and the Ravens were held to 9 points on the day.

The Shagg Makino-less offense had trouble running the ball against Baltimore's beefy front seven, but found great success throwing the ball downfield against the Ed Reed-less secondary, to the tune of 290 yards on only 12 attempts and 9 completions from first-time starter Josh Freeman.

All in all, the Broncos came off the bye with their new acquisitions making big impressions and their whole team playing the best game of the still-young season.

The Broncos will need a repeat performance next week against the division-leading Steelers.

Great game weeman. This was a classic case of you making big plays early and destroying my entire gameplan. I thought I was going to be able to run on you, but by making a pick 6 on my first and third (i think) throws and connecting on a long bomb early, you nullified the threat completely.

You also had the best stick skills of anyone I've seen thus far, making that INT on the first one, where it would have been an easy completion with the DB AI.

With a tough schedule ahead, I've resigned myself to thinking about this as a rebuilding year. Since making the playoffs (my primary goal) is unlikely, I'll pursue one just below that and true to my Raven roots: spoiling the fun for the Steelers. Weeks 12 and 16 should be fun.

Once again Pappy good game. I was feeling good about 10 minutes into the game and then you hitstuck me back to reality. Seriously, he unleashed a hitstick on me with nearly every tackle in the game. I bet we had 4-5 fumbles luckily we only lost 2 of them. Throw in a Alex Smith interception when Hill was out for a few plays and you have a 3 turnover day. The one fumble went to the house. My team has a lot of work to do as we were knocked back into reality 38-13. I think our team will be okay in the long run, we just have to put four quarters of football together. Warning for anyone that plays Indy this season..... stay away from Bob Sanders he is just as deadly as IRL. Thanks for the tip on the cover button Pappy, never really needed it before but if everyone in this league hits like you it will become my friend. I think I am for sure going to start getting more practice games in, anyone in the league hit me up if you want to run some games.

BOB IS BACK BABY!!!! In my game against BoxBoy, Bob forced 3 fumbles and snagged an interception. He was hungry and his energy carried over to the rest of my team who were landing huge hits on the 49ers all game. After one of Bob's hits he actually got hurt the same way he did in week 1. Fortunately, it was minor and he returned to action during the game. It's essential that I keep Melvin Bullitt on my roster because Bob is extremely fragile.

We scored on our first drive and Boxboy responded with a score of his own. I thought it was going to be a close game but turnovers killed the 49ers. I felt that we had things under control by halftime, so we tried to coast the rest of the way.

We had a few nice passing plays to keep the chains moving and Larry chipped in with a solid performance. No complaints this week from the Colts organization. Despite the score, I think the 49ers have a lot of potential. Their passing game was pretty sharp, they just never really got a run game established. GG BoxBoy.

Well, once again I dominated every important stat but the score

We are getting victimized by outside miracle runs that include 3-4 broken tackles. Today had to be the 8th time it's happened in 8 games.

When I get a stud QB in round 1, watch out league.

                          RUMOR CONTROL:
Word on the street is that Cowboys brass is just about done with Head Coach Wade Phillips. After little to no production out of perenial All-Pro DeMarcus Ware & an awful showing in their game versus the Falcons, sources claim Phillips' time is drawing near.

Al you did was invert reality with this game. You took rare plays in reality and plugged them in with what happens all to frequently in Madden. Its not just the star players in madden that do what you saw, its all of them.

Do you think people with 150+ yards a game in our franchise is "realistic" also even though I dont see that in the real NFL ?
You cant throw to WR's on the right going inside and you cant throw to WRs on the left trying to go outside. You cant throw fades or streaks when its appropriate because they never really get open....no seperation.

Not once last night did I see centers and guards stand up and turn their back to the LOS and not block anyone. I did not see 5 ducks go flying in the air when the QB got hit while throwing. I also did not see CB's running the route of the WR BEFORE the WR ran the route. I do see that in madden though.

The game is broken. Hopefully after the patches all this stuff will be addressed, however right now no one can justify the gameplay I am seeing in this game. It is better than last year in some areas but its still a borken game.

Man, Tomb, I just don't see it. To me the language of "broken" games has become so overused that it loses its meaning. I read most statements using it as hyperbole anymore.

Certain things need tuning, sure (like how often the QB flutters the ball while getting hit--it happens too much in M10), but I hardly think the game is "broken."

The OL stuff can be wonky at times, but it also works just fine lots of the time. And the WR stuff isn't true in my experience. I've had my speedsters get open on streaks, and I've had others get open on me. Sure they don't blow by guys by 10 yards or more like in APF, but that's a good thing, imo.

And maybe it's just me, but playing in OF with this crowd takes a good game and makes it great. I just don't comprehend the negativity, and it's not because I'm Polyanna. I'd feel differently, I think, if I played randoms or offline franchise, but this is what I play and I can't get enough of it!

I dont think the game is "broken" by any measure.Did I pick out specific plays?Sure I did.Does it happen all the time?no.Do a lot of the plays that happen in Madden happen in the NFL?Yes.Also I saw a couple of times where the Guards and Tackle not only didnt block anyone they didnt get a hand on any body, and when they did it was only for a split second. And as for your comment about the route running I would have to say look againg...I saw pass plays where it looked like the DB WAS the intended reciever and ran a better route than said Wr,it looked like it was choreographed...lol but I digress.I know what I saw and gave my opinion of it relating to this game(M10)to each his own.
