Madden is the only NFL game and I'm assuming a big portion of us here are American and know how popular the game of football is in this country. Not a chance at all.

theyd be lucky to get half. Madden had a decent year and the sales are own because of the economy. Last year NBA 2k had half, and NBA Live 09 wasnt very good. Now both games are extremely competitive. If I was NBA 2K Id be worried about just beating Live than Madden.

This... the only way 2k could beat Madden in sales is 2k was allowed to make football games again, and even so it would still be a stretch.

No, and it won't be close. EA owns a monopoly on NFL licensed games so there's no splitting of the fan base between multiple games and the NFL is more popular than the NBA in any event.
