Can anyone complete a FULL game

Just curious if anyone was like me and wanted to like this game and every couple days start a game only to get frustrated and shut it off before halftime. i remember when i used to enjoy Madden.

I am tired of having my lineman miss every obvious block. This game just isn't fun anymore. I really wish they would do what FIFA did and spend the year fixing gameplay and forget the ref cutscenes and other added garbage. They even managed to screw that up because i'm forced to sit through these about 400 times a game.

I swore last year i was done with Madden and now i'm hoping i've learned my lesson and next year i'll save the 60 bucks. Definitely not worth it, as my copy is already being sold on ebay.

I love this madden i complete alot of games maybe you just arent very good at it.

Yeah, little bit. I kill the cpu too badly (ie. 50 - 3) and that's no fun. Played with sliders where it's close or I lose, and it's more difficult, but it's not achieved in a realistic manner because of numerous game flaws in the engine itself. It is what it is. What choice do we have if we want to play an NFL game?

sorry to hear you feel this way. i dont mean to bash you or anything, but youre probably playing a too easy of a difficulty setting. if you play on all-madden with some sliders, the game should consistently be close unless youre playing teams as bad as the lions or raiders. i have had one blow out in this game. it happened earlier today in which i was the vikings and rushed for 312 yards against the lions. had 221 with AP 67 with chester and the rest with percy harvin.

I complete my games.

I do agree that it'd be nice if they would spend the year fixing gameplay issues that have been there forever rather than add useless cut scenes which are repetitive and annoying. Sadly though it seems the majority get physically aroused over that crap and couldn't care less about the issues with blocking.

I also agree the cut scenes were screwed up and they actually have a negative impact on gameplay. hehe I shake my head at that.

All in all I enjoy the game (and am about to go play a few franchise games tonight) but it is far from being "great" in my mind.

I could play Madden games all day compared to NCAA, where I have to turn it off.

Madden usually get stale for me once I start watching real football and seeing how completely off Madden is from the real thing.

Ive been playing with the sliders for awhile now, and even tried out some from the forums here.. But I keep blowing out teams. I find myself ignoring penalties against the other team, or slowing down when I break away with a run..

This is the first Madden in awhile where I can actually complete 1 or more games in a row, provided I have the time.

NCAA is now the game that I sometimes want to shut off early. Similar to last years Madden, I liked the game but it was a struggle to finish.

Madden10 on the other hand, like i say, I can play plenty in a row. Maddens back baby.

Cant wait to see whats up for 2011.

I agree OP as theres just too many issues to play more than a game or 2 at best but hopefully the Patches will help the gameplay but by that time Ill be playing NHL

I can play this all day and night. It is a freakin' great game; people need to stop reading every topic and go and play. Bout to go continue my chise', I've been loving every second so far. The longest I have played any Madden in 4 years. Take care fellas.

ive noticed if ur getting blown out in a game and you restart the cpu acts different, you'll likely win if u restart. its weird. like if your gettin blown out 42-0 restart and you'll win by atleast 2 touch downs, from my experience anyway. and i noticed one of my RBs was injured for 9 weeks and my second RB was playing then i restarted and the RB that was hurt was playing.
