Pats go 16-0 in my franchise

In all of my years playing Madden, I've never had a CPU team go 16-0 in my franchise. But it happened. In year 1 of my Redskins franchise, the New England Patriots went 16-0. And ironically, the New York Giants went 10-6 and they're a 5th seed...which is their exact record and seed that they had in 07 when they marched to the Super Bowl and upset the undefeated Pats. Also, I've never had a CPU team go 0-16, but it ALMOST happened. The Bucs went 1-15, they won their final game against the Falcons 34-16. lol. So they go 0-15, and then smash the Falcons(who btw went 10-6 and won their division) to avoid going 0-16. haha. It's like they said "WE'RE NOT GOING 0-16!!!!!!" before the game. But anyway, this is just one wierd season and I've never experienced, in any Madden I've ever played, a CPU team going 16-0, and then another one just barely escaping 0-16 by winning their final game, let alone in the same season.

Anyone else had a CPU team go 16-0 before? Or even one going 0-16? But I guess I still haven't had a CPU go 0-16, but it almost happened. lol.

Right now they are 8-0 in my franchise and I'm using Bill Harris sliders, and they are the only team that is undefeated through 8 games.

Only the Chargers are close at 7-1 and on the NFC side I have a few teams with 6-2 records. My Bengals are 5-3 . But Carson is having a Pro-Bowl type year and so is Chad Ochocinco.

I control all 32 teams in my franchise, but I think once it gets a little out of hand like by week 13 or 14 and they are still undefeated I will play against them and beat them just so that they dont go undefeated.

hahahaha. Yea as a Colts fan, I was tempted to purposely make them lose. But I didn't just to see if they really would go 16-0. lol

i think in my first year of franchise the liions went 0-15-1

patriots did it in my first season as well. i went 13-3 with my seahawks and whooped up on the pats in the super bowl tho.

The Steelers lost in week 16 of the 1st season of my franchise and ended up winning the last game and going 15-1 (with another Super Bowl win).

My 2nd season I just beat them and they fell to 2nd in the AFC with a 9-3 record behind the 10-2 Pats.

Hmmm, I guess it's more common in Madden 10 then. In previous Maddens, I rarely even had a CPU team go 15-1.

When you play the Patriots, you have to look for the guy with the camera behind the opposing teams bench. When you find him, let Goodell know, and then the hammer is dropped on Belicheat for good. That will keep them from going 16-0 for sure. :wink:

in years past my teams would go undefeated for years at a time, with me simming. But back in the day I could just build teams with all 99's. I think my longest undefeated streak while simming was 4.5 years.

I remember in madden 05, some team went 0-16 in my franchise. I want to say it was the bears....?

I have seen the pats and steelers both go 16-0 atleast 3 different times (not both the same year) it happens way to often
