I don't see why it wouldn't be, maybe if you simplified the controls to start with. Check out 2k10 too, it seems a little more geared for the casual fan. -

Don't know. Can't answer that because I do not fit in part two of your question.
What I can tell you is this. The game has a bit of a learning curve if you've never played it before. It will take you a while to get used to how you are supposed to shoot and deke. Once you get it though, it is, without question the best hockey game I've ever played.Comment
