huh, so thats a "nano blitz"...is nano an acronym or something? I've only done it once a couple of games ago and didnt know how or what I did but I got an "achievement unlocked: nano" message on the screen so I assume I did this....the CPU does it to me all the time though

Not sure if that's really a nano blitz. I thought a nano blitz was a 4 man rush that penetrates the A gap. This guy is sending 6, or 5 w/ a fake blitz.

Also, he fails to mention that if you keep a RB or TE in to block, you can get away from this and hit the gaping holes in this defense. Deep post anyone?

I like the fake blitz idea. I have plays where I'm supposed to do that but I don't. If it actually attracts the OL.. I will do it. That part was a really good tip.

The "Nano" achievement means that you sacked the qb right after the snap, you DT beat the Oling and got there quick.

You cannot block it unless you slide protect. That's why it is a nano blitz. Against base protection the same guy is going to come up the gut every single time. If you slide protect you pick that middle guy up but the outside guy comes free.

WHen are all these adjustments made when there is clock run down? Against the CPU the snap comes about a second after we're on the field. There's no time for all the adjustments needed to perform this.

Against the CPU you might never get all of this off. I don't even try against the CPU. I pretty much run a lot of vanilla defense against it.

Actually it shouldn't take that long. As soon as the huddle breaks you can blitz both OLB's. Once you see the offense walking to the line, hit the R trigger and you should be able to start selecting guys. Select that ILB and blitz him and wala!!

for my "nano blitz" i do a cover 2 sink in a 1-1-5 formation and just but my LB right behind or next to the DT. I don't change anything. sometimes i get to the QB in an instant but it doesn't work all the time. i don't consider is a nano because i don't make any adjustments to play except move my LB behind the NT and just run up the middle.

Actually a nano is something that is IMPOSSIBLE to stop. 90% of the time the nanos u guys say are nanos just need to have backs and tight ends blocking.Multiple teams in the NFL have people shooting straight threw beacause of Dt loops and stunts or confusion of the Oline so I think the term nano is way over used.

yeah, the Defender gets to the QB in a Nano-second.

I just killed some guy with a great record 19-0 and he ran this all game. I couldn't really generate much if any offense against it. I got a 70 yard td pass on a slant and a couple other first downs but I had some trouble.

But he tried to run the wildcat and when I shut that down he was done. I had a pic 6 and forced a fumble.
