how is the passing? is it still fairly difficult for the user compared to 09? having trouble with the manual passing, is this a good middle ground?

So I see that CPU aid is set to hardcore, and manual passing is off, with the pass assist slider set at halfway.

I'm curious to see what the practical effect of that will be. I guess I've been having difficulty understanding what the CPU aid slider is all about, and how it differs from the passing settings.

These are solid settings to start with! Most realistic hockey I've ever played.

am I correct in thinking that the CPU Difficulty slider doesn't affect AI but only gives the CPU players a speed boost?

What's the difference between manual passing on and off.

I'm having trouble controlling passes. Even the simplest pass seems to be off target.

Is there a setting where I aim where to pass, press the pass button, and the accuracy of the pass is dependant on ratings, not my precise aiming of the left stick. I like that they made passing harder, but if Chris Pronger wants to pass to another defenseman 10 feet away, he shoud hit that pass.

For me, this helps with my passing a lot. You can always increase the pass assist or your pass accuracy if you need more.

I have not tried them for BAP.

I believe so...that was definitely the case on Superstar.

                      I'm using the sliders in my BAP on All-Star . . . fan-effing-tastic. They're working like gangbusters.

I'm on superstar/harcore with no adjustments and the poke effectiveness/stick lift of the CPU is only set to 3 clicks and it's infuriating me how effective they are. How do you manage to play the CPU with their poke effectiveness at 6??

Just personal preference I guess...right now I'm only on All-Star, so that might be a slider that needs to be adjusted if playing on Superstar.

Would these work for 8 minute periods? I am having a heck of a time scoring on All-Star and pro is too easy. Any help?

If the CPU is having no trouble scoring I would leave the HUM goalie sliders alone and lower the CPU goalie sliders to the minimum and then work from there...
