I was just curious if anything has been mentioned about pass coverage being addressed in a patch for this year? I think this is one of the top issues that needs to be looked into and thought it would of been fixed in the most recent patch, also thought the auto subs would of been fixed in the most recent patch as well.

And out of curiousity, what types of problems are you having with pass coverage?I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I think what he may be referring to is when you are in zone coverage and the ball is is on the hash. When your player is running a hook zone, the player reacts as if he is in the center of the field therefore making bigger holes in the zone. With good DB's it's not that noticeable but when you have a cupcake team it sucks. It forced me to play a lot of man which is the exact opposite of what a cupcake team would really do.Comment

Zone coverage is horrendous in this game. Has nothing to do with the hash marks. It doesn't matter if it is human or CPU.
I will give you an example. A wheel route beats cover 2 or cover 3 zone and there isn't a dang thing you can do about it except play a buzz zone. If you play the buzz zone then the skinny post is going to be open. Most wheel routes plays in the game are combined with the skinny post.
If you zone blitz in the game then you are stupid because all you have to do is throw to where the blitz is coming from as soon as the QB touches the ball and it is an automatic 5-10 yards every play and sometimes more.
The problem with zone is that the defenders only defend space. They don't defend offensive players when they come into their zone.
Another problem with zone is that you can't stop the run with it. Players back away from the ball if they aren't blitzing.
Plus, a 3 and 4 man rush is horrendous on this game. If you play a 3 deep safe zone all the offense has to do is wait 6 seconds and then lob the ball into single coverage because the rest of the defense doesn't react.
It is frightening that people still defend this game.Comment
