These sports games have improved greatly in the EA stable... FIFA actually overtook PE in the latest platform & is a FANTASTIC game. I would rather play FIFA than Madden because it is a better game, maybe not a better sport. The funny thing is I have never actually played soccer competitively, but it is easy to tell... The interpretation of the sport by EA is far better. Same goes for NHL.

if the developers for FIFA and/or NHL make Madden, then what happens to those two games?I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I disagree they made a gem in my opinion, after the poo that previous game producer created in the last 3 to 4 years. In 8 to 10 short months they were able to bring Madden back to respectability and a real good game.
Don't forget it took a few years and several iterations for Fifa and NHL to be nice as well. It is just that football is for many of us our top sport with other leagues in distant seconds.

Both of those games took long arduous journeys to where they are now... the same Journey that the current Madden staff began this year. Madden's team isn't worse, just starting later.

EA needs to track down the makers of 2k5 and bring them along. man, it would be like a dream come true!!!...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment
