    wow......

does anyone no how to stop someone when they put brandon Jacobs at fullback and Ahmad bradshaw at runningback. He'd either run a fullback dive or a toss while mixing up the occasional hb direct snap.

    Re: wow......

the only way to stop that is to shift your d-line to the inside and then slant them inside to stop the FB dive then you need to blitz your safeties on the outsides (control one of your safeties)

also whoever you played against was very smart. i did the same thing last year in 09 except i was cowboys and put barber at FB and felix jones at HB

Fixed. FB Dive was broken last year, which means you abused exploits.

It is cheap because it was much more effective than it should have been and allowed for an automatic 4-5 yard gain.

I believe the reason the FB Dive was broken was actually in one of the Dev Blogs. I think it had to do with QBs turning too fast.

i understand your point of how its cheap but just for the sake of a good discussion....the other side to that is that you can do it just as effectively as your opponent can (granted you have 2 decent to good RB's)

Or, you can play the game as it was intended to be played.

or you could get creative and try to manipulate it but still playing by the rules. guys i play this year that are say the chargers that have a pretty fast #2 RB will line him up at WR and run streaks with him all day

If playing the game wasn't enough to tell you FB dive was broke last year then either you don't watch much FB or you are just slow. Also, the devs admitted it was broken and talk about it was all over these boards.

btw i wasnt on these boards last year so thats why i didnt know i guess. but if the devs admitted it then why didnt they fix it in a patch?

I tried a couple games. In unranked it can be fun cause people tend to use their team and play real football. I played 1 ranked game and somehow managed to stomach the cheese-fest that was there, basically like what cmcghs said was a smart gameplay, until the other guy quit as I threw a TD pass at the end to go up by 10 points.
