    Realm's Superstar Sliders

Figured I'd post what I'm using in case anyone wanted to give em a go. Thanks go to Phillyfan as my sliders are esentially a tweaked version of his last set. First number is Human, second CPU. I've been getting great varied games with these so far, some blow outs some back and forth, and also some defensive games. I'm currently 5-4-0 in my Bruins Be A GM with these sliders.

    Superstar
    Period Length 14 mins
    Main Penalty slider Maxed
    Pen Time Scale 0 clicks
    Fighting 3 clicks

    General
    Cpu Aid Hardcore
    Gamespeed 1
    Attribute Effect Maxed
    Fatigue Effect 5/5
    Fatigue Recovery 2/2
    Injuries 3/3
    Puck Control 1/1
    Acceleration 2/2

    AI
    AI Learning Max
    CPU Diff 0
    Faceoff Diff 5
    Fight Diff 4
    CPU Penalties 4
    CPU Team Penalties Max

    Passing
    Pass assist 0
    Manual Passing On
    Pass Speed 2
    Manual Pass Speed 3
    Pass Accuracy 0/0
    Interceptions 6/6

    Shooting
    Shot Accuracy 3/3
    Shot Power 4/4
    Slap Accuracy 3/3
    Slap Power 4/4
    One Timer Accuracy 3/3

    Checking
    Hitting Diff Max
    Hit Power 0/0
    Lift Effectiveness 2/2
    Poke Effectiveness 6/6

    Goalies
    Goalie Passing 0
    Cover Puck 6
    Screen 4/4
    Reaction *5/*1

After testing OBG's reaction tweaks I came to the same outcome he did, it makes it so the user goalie doesn't flub as many easy shots while still being plenty beatable. It also gives the user a bit more leeway in beating CPU tenders on high percentage shots that should generally be scoring chances. Tested over 4 games, 4-1 loss to Toronto, 4-3 loss to the Hawks, 4-3 win over Ottawa 5-2 win over Florida.

    Re: Realm's Superstar Sliders

I noticed you have CPU Difficulty Adjusment at 0. Does this cut out the speed cheat that is prevalent on superstar? I saw from your videos that you've gotten clean goals from outside the slot, which is good. But do you ever get odd-man rushes or breakaways?

My problem is that I want to play on all-star but I am to the point where it is not going to be much of a challenge anymore.

      Re: Realm's Superstar Sliders

I gave these a shot but i really didnt like them with hardcore passing, i just cant handle the charging of the passes, the cpu passes are faster while mine hardly move it just stupid.

I might give these a try on normal and see if that helps improve them. You must be pretty good realm because i struggled badly.

      EDIT

I gave these exact sliders a go playing on normal passing and so far they are great, at first i was worried because i was all over the cpu in the 1st period outshooting the cpu 12-6 but i had three powerplays, after the 2nd period the shots are now 20-18 in the cpu favour after they had 3 powerplays.

Well the 3rd period stayed scoreless and it felt like my players were a step or 2 behind the cpu, they wouldnt react to loose pucks and it felt like the cpu overall just had that edge over me which could just be because i am a bit rusty.

      the stats finished

      Colorado 2-1 Phoenix

      Period 1 - Duchene (Svatos, Stewart) 1:25
      Period 2 - Svatos (Tucker, Clark) 0:39
      Jovanovski (Boedker, Lombardi) 10:27
      Period 3 - No scoring

      36 - shots - 24
      25 - hits - 13
      25 - faceoffs - 17
      7:02 - toa - 5:48
      0/5 - pp's - 0/4

All in all i thought the game was pretty good considering this is the second game on superstar i have played since getting the game, the first being on hardcore that i mentioned before. the more i play the better the feel for the game on superstar will get.

I was using Phoenix also because i am wanting to start a BAGM and use a rebuilding team so in a way it felt good to loose without feeling like i was totally destroyed.

I will use these for now.

I will definitely be turning manual passing off when I try these.

Im with you n the passing. I find the passing perfect on hardcore, but with manual passing off and pass assist on 1. I also have pass accuracy on 0, and pass speed at 3 clicks.

Realm, what kind of scores are you getting? Do you see the occasional 6-2, 5-0 game?

That's good. Ha. If someone only read the past couple of posts they might think they are in the wrong forum.

Why is the default CPU difficulty slider at 3? Does this mean if we lower it to 0 that we (the user) has the advantage? I really wish Redshirt or someone from EA would answer these questions so we could be sure about it.

he did answer this a couple weeks back and according to redshirt.....

cpu difficulty adjustment 0 equals to a level playing field with no attribute cheats/boosts for the cpu.

                            Re: Realm's Superstar Sliders

just played another game with these sliders and i have to say the game feels sluggish and unresponsive to say the least, when a player recieves a pass its like he has come to a stop so it feels like there is no flow to the game at all.

Dont think these are for me, going to give OS's superstar sliders a try

I was just wondering guys if i am using normal rather than hardcore but have no pass assist on and pass accuracy at 0 whats the difference between that and hardcore?

And also one last thing, am i the only one who sees my cpu teammates wildy swing there sticks in the stick lift animation at every loose puck? they give away PP after PP.

Here is the stats from the last game funnily enough they dont look bad

                            Calgary 2-1 Edmonton(me)S/O
                            23 - shots - 28
                            24 - hits - 17
                            18 - f/offs - 25
                            4:52 - toa - 7:03
                            0/6 - pp - 0/6

                            EDIT

Feels like i could edit this post all day lol

Seriously with these sliders i would describe it like pinball hockey, you have professional hockey players who cant get the puck under control even the superstars, players like Hemsky who is one of the best puck handlers in the NHL cant do anything because they cant get the puck under control.

Another thing this also highlights is how bad the puck physics are with these sliders, the puck feels heavy when passing and floaty when it leaves the ice. The puck control and in someways the puck physics can be adjusted to improve somewhat but something i noticed that really isnt on is that players like Hemsky and Cogliano cant get away from slower and tired players even when they are fresh and just come on the ice.

Really Disappointed in that fact and i had saw others mention it but i think it shows up so much more with the slider at 1. Realm please dont take this as a personal attack on you i am just giving my experiences in the games i have played using these sliders.

Great first game with the Habs VS Leafs

Lost 4-1 but dominate in shots

but my fourth line only played 1 shift during the game....is it normal
