Franchise Tape and Gameplanning Idea

I had the idea to -- instead of having it in game -- have Chris Collinsworth's Backtrack feature as a feature for film in Franchise mode! That would be absolutely amazing imo. If you could get the opponent's most successful and most called plays and match them up against your own...? I'd definitely tip my hat to that.

Any thoughts?

Sounds cool in theory. But in the end I don't know how practical it would be.

IMO most would use it a few times then get over it.

Not bad though, definitely read worse ideas.

Before they add any franchise feature, the gameplay needs to be fixed.
I don't think this is a bad idea, but gameplay must be first though. Period.

Yea it sounds cool. But I'd probably use it a few times and then get over it. Maybe they can implement some sort of presentation Pre-Game feature like the backtrack. Where Collinsworth goes and talks about the players and teams and what they like to do, and then he could show us some film sort of like the backtrack. Maybe..idk

I would love a solid gameplanning mode. I remember the gameplan mode back in madden 05, I think it was, and it was neat. It allowed you to defend against their best offensive plays and practice some offensive plays that would be more effective in game. I wish they would have included a way to quick select the practiced plays, for sure.

Also, reading scouting reports is always fun
