Any news on a demo date? I see new animations but gameplay mechanics look the same. Looking forward to a demo before the 6th of october...so far a good year for basketball gamers in general.

also they got shaq's turn around hook pretty good


the dunks look good, looks like they actually grab the ball and touch the rim. not some animation that doesnt take into account the size of the player

also a side note, the camera used for the raptors is similar to the suns real life camera.

and i know the cav's camera is really low in real live (makes the court look wider)

This game looks unreal, sure it looks similar to 2k9 but there was nothing wrong with that game, so why fix it, adding new animations to an already popular game makes it easier for anyone who has played 2k basketball before to pick it up and start playing, everything looks new and improved, and the tip dunk and oops look amazing (david lee at 2:07 and lebron at 3.46) spacing looks great too, i've been playing the NBA live 10 demo lately and the DC and my excitement in gaining momentum for this big release aswell

The arenas look much bigger and you can see the spacing on the floor. This vid looks much better than the IGN one.

Can't compare these vids. IGN showed some full gameplay which showed up some sliding and awkward passes. This vid is a montage of nice finishes and stuff. Doesn't mean it's a great vid, but to compare these is impossible, need to see full 5-on-5 gameplay...

Simply amazing. I can't believe how improved this game looks and sounds. The graphics are outstanding, the animations look very smooth, the arena sounds are great, the announcers are so much better than last year, and I love the pre game rituals, I CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!

I noticed in the Lakers Celtics game that the players on each team were standing until each of their teams scored. Is this an NBA ritual?

Visual Concepts has truly mastered making a basketball simulation. I am floored over the gigantic improvement that 2k10 looks like it is over 2k9.

hmm, never paid attention, but could imagine that. It´s very common in Europe at least, actually it goes for bench as well as Fans. At my local team they are doing a standing ovation from introduction until the first point scored, if you sit down earlier you are a douche
