Honestly, that's much better news than what I expected. I would've hated to have totally generic D-Leaguers. It cuts down on the immersion factor way too much IMO. But as long as some real-life scrubs are in there, I'm satisfied.

No way I am creating players...8,000 different things to customize. I love it but hate it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots: Association - Part 1
Saw the Celtics beat the Cavs 97-70 on opening night or something like that, but those team averages at the end of the season looked reasonable so IDK. Also seemed like rebounds were slightly more realistic but assists were still low.
I can't say enough good things about the new presentation of the calendar and NBA.com. Much more user friendly, and the white of the Headlines would cause burn in on my TV last year. I can tell that won't be a problem this year either.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots: Association - Part 1
unfortunately simmed stats seem way off just like last year out nof the box. Same problems as well. Unbalanced scoring with a lot of rotation players not scoring enough, way too many 3 point makes (1 player cracked 200 last season irl, a guy like lebron shot 100 more in that screenshot than last year)
Overall scoring seems low with very few teams cracking 100 points.
thanks for the pics !Last edited by Whoman; 09-25-2009, 07:52 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots: Association - Part 1
The simulated stats are alittle off but a lot better then they were last year.
not so good
1. 3pts are way to high....Gots to lower them
2. FG% seemed a bit high as well
3. Pts per game for players a bit high
Great
1. They fixed the rebounds!!!
2. Star players stats looked pretty right on
3. Blks and Stls looked good
I will be controlling all 30 teams to manipulate some of those stats. There was a ton of automated options for the association.
Chris Bosh avg 26ppg 14.8rpg....How about 23ppg and 11rpg tops.
Devin Harris 28.2 ppg....hmm...maybe 23 or 24
CP3 26.6ppg is high and his 7.7apg are very low"Don't complain about the show if the ticket is free."Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots: Association - Part 1
Nooo joke. I wonder if people can alter those when they make a draft class for people to upload. If so, you'd have to do some crazy research if you're a purist and want your upcoming rookies to play how they do in college. But damn, would it be awesome if someone actually nailed that.Comment

Thanks Steve for the screens.
Nice to see the simulated stats are realistic. The great teams have more wins than losses and also the individual stats are on point this year.
What I don't like is that 2K didn't change the reward system for team goals. I mean to win 25 games in a row and get 20 points for it isn't well balanced. Looks like I have to let my rookie play for 30 minutes to get 45 reward points.Machine is no joke. Clutch like Kobe. I tell Kobe, but Kobe ignore!Comment

BTW I hate, hate, hate the menus. Why do video game companies continue to not utilize the space on the screen with pertinent information.
This next gen menu system in all games is just terrible.
Show us all the stats width wise. There should be little to no scrolling.Comment

I just saw on a video that on MyPlayer mode your guy don't have that blank silhouette but his cyberface from the combine.
Can't they patch it and add the cyberfaces for rookies and D-League players?
It really makes no sense..My basketball dreams : A sequel to Slam Dunk and College Hoops 2k10Comment
