If I have to ride thru a whole year with AI having a fresh cut, then I'll rather create him myself bc it jus wouldn't feel authentic playin with 2k's fresh cut version

haha just kidding! I always wanted everything to be authentic. hell even tim duncan hair annoys me in 2k9, which they ported to 2k10 where he doesn't have a full headed of hair instead but the side is trimmed really short and it's hella ugly on timmeh

they need to give chris wilcox's braids to iverson. and give stuckey some hair on the sides. he hasnt had the haircut 2K10 gave him in 2 years

It can and will be fixed on the PC version but the console versions who knows. I don't remember if 2k ever added apperances to roster updates.

No reason why they dont just let players hair be edited to remedy this situation for certain players. Everything should be editable really.

More difficult than you think. With consoles it is nearly impossible. PC it is possible but all those hairs needs a 3D model along with the head 3D model which are all different (one of the biggest advancements in graphics over the last few years. All head shapes used to be the same for every player).

The more games graphics get better the less customizable they will be, especially on consoles.

I wish 2K would allow us to take our players to the Virtual Barber Shop in the Virtual Projects so we could give our players fresh cuts weekly. They messed up on not allowing us to this since it obviously adds and improves the gameplay.

Not really. On Konamis Pro Evolution Soccer for consoles you can edit all players hairstyles

The graphics on pro evolution does not equate to the graphics on nba 2k. All the players have the same shape of head via 2k which actually has different model head shapes. I think the better the graphics the more hard it is to customize in game players.

Look at smackdown vs raw. You cannot customize the in game wrestlers but you can customize the created wrestlers you make. This year the most you can do with the in game wrestlers on smackdown vs raw is change their color scheme.

i remember nba 2k had just released and we were promised roster updates like that. "if the whole celtic team decides to wear headbands. we'll have it.. if player _____ gets a haircut, we'll have it".

the closest we've gotten ten years later is the year that ben wallace had randomized hair styles.. fro or braids lol

Does Stuckey have that haircut again?! He had an even buzz through the whole season last year. I don't even remember him ever having that cut... Maybe his rookie season? I'm not sure.
That's pretty disappointing regardless.

The problem with that is the players could get jacked in the Virtual Projects. Happened here in ATL when Sheldon Williams played for the Hawks and went to get a fresh cut.
