Not only did it crash on me now after deleting it off the hard drive when selecting a quick race drift event my car sounds are gone for the first round. They're still there for career stuff. I must have a defective copy or something but it's a rental.

Too Bad Bro....as we have logged over a 1000 hours racing each each other on line...I really think you would enjoy this one. It has it's moments, and has enough sim to go along with the arcade aspect to make it a lot of fun.

Not sure if I have come across a game yet that has Seca looking so damn good. Obviously Manny, its not going to match GTR2, NR2K3, Race 07, or even RFactor for realism.........but still a damn fun game.

For those of you still on the fence, just go out and pick the game up. There are a ton of career races and the game is flat out fun. I've played a lot of racing games where it felt like a chore to progress through it, but that definitely isn't the case with Shift. It's This the best racer I've played in a long time.

My only real knock on it is that the online options are pretty limited. You can't even see what your opponent is driving until your actually in the race. Not really sure why they did that.

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen someone's friendlist message say "Need For Speed SHIFT Taking a Dump" with how detailed that message gets. I saw one saying someone just had a big crash...does it really update that quickly?

I really don't have any desire to get this one, but I just found that amusing.

Fun game, glad I picked it up. Forza 2 was boring to me, and the Gran Turismo games are too much work. I like racing games with a bit of arcade to them; the sim racers are too dang hard and not much fun.

I beat it yesterday, only on driver level 20 though. Now that the Forza 3 demo is out, want to see whether I'm trading in Shift, or keeping it. Since I beat Shift so quickly, I know I can get a good amount to sell it. But, I love it, and would love some new cars/tracks in DLC. Nothing has wowed me yet about Forza 3, so giving the demo a spin later tonight will tell me more.

I can't stop playing this game. I just finished a 30 lap endurance race and while my fingers are a little tired (not using wheel) I had a blast.

Something about gathering stars and car battles that really do it for me. This game is just down right fun for me. So much that I really haven't even delved into ODST since buying it because I'm spending most of my gaming time trying to get to tier 4 in this game. Only 13 more stars left!

Yah man i havent been able to put it down either! and im not even playing with a wheel i wonder how does it feel...does anyone have a wheel and using it for this game i want to get the g25??? anyhow this game is sick! love it...not too arcadish, but damn good sim very easy to control the cars wish i could pimp it out more, but the pearl paint is hot!!! lol
