Did not check the away alternate. So for a home jersey, the dino was not there.

Yeah, the %'s seem too high out of the box just like last year. Just slightly. A few clicks down in each area (inside, close, med. 3 pt.) helps this immensely.

Yes. IMO it doesn't go out far enough... either that or it is controllable. I have to figure it out. But your teammate did not pick up the ball from what I saw. I only did it once.

could you please answer my question? it's been strongly and obviously ignored. it's a simple question:

1. any word on playoff/finals atmosphere (do the crowds wear team colors, do they act differently in the playoffs.. in the sense of cheering louder etc etc)!? are they louder when call are made and such??can we expect a new experience in the playoffs/finals?

In the draft combine you can create a point-forward....Dont know if he brings the ball up tho...In 2k9, I thought this was based on the ball handling rating?...Maybe its some where in the many tendencies we have this year....

Simple Questions Pared:

Are slider changes powerful?, do they feel like they are really changing the dynamic of the gameplay with each little tweak? (because in older 2k's they seemed to only make a slight difference)

I haven't messed with all the sliders because I don't feel you need to. But for shooting, even 3-4 clicks down have made a noticeable enough difference to drop the shooting %'s in the 45-55% range.

I've also increased defensive rebounding 20 clicks and that was way too high. Hard as heck to get an offensive rebound.

So yes, I'd say they are working well enough so far.

I saw that. However, a screen shot of NBA headlines at the beginning of the association also said that Yao was out indefinitely due to surgery. So I'm hoping that the "headline" actually affects the game, and I can play year 1 without Yao (or maybe there's an option to turn on/off realistic injuries to start the season).

Has the effectiveness of the jump pass been tuned? Can it be abused? Can bigs like Tyson Chandler jump pass effectively?

Can you dribble in circles around the basket and score without getting stripped? Can this be abused like last year?

How many consecutive isomotion moves does it take before you either lose the ball or readjust your dribble?
