Great question! Dying to know this, as well as if BJ Mullens and Serge Ibaka are listed on either the Thunder or D-League roster.

I saw that. However, a screen shot of NBA headlines at the beginning of the association also said that Yao was out indefinitely due to surgery. So I'm hoping that the "headline" actually affects the game, and I can play year 1 without Yao (or maybe there's an option to turn on/off realistic injuries to start the season).

Has the effectiveness of the jump pass been tuned? Can it be abused? Can bigs like Tyson Chandler jump pass effectively?

Can you dribble in circles around the basket and score without getting stripped? Can this be abused like last year?

How many consecutive isomotion moves does it take before you either lose the ball or readjust your dribble?

I'm not trying to abuse the game, so take this with a grain of salt. There are more turnovers from errant passes by bigs this year.

There's momentum when you dribble, so you can't just spaz your way into a bunch of players this year.

Losing the ball only seems to happen when your player is really low on energy.

i doubt it i'm pretty sure the city of seattle owns the rights to the colors and logo's etc. of the supersonics..

Thanks for all you guys do. What about the jersey selection screen? Has that been fixed in 2K10 so that you can actually cycle through the jerseys, retros and alternates and see them displayed? This was especially problematic in Association mode.

Seriously, you need to calm down. Your question has been asked and it's been read by those with the game. Pared already said he's not at his console.

If they get to it they do, if not then you can sim to the end and find out when you buy the game (they also might not want to spoil the game for themselves by seeing the celebration/lack there of before earning it in their own association). Consider this a warning.

They do, but Live 10 has them in their game, so hopefully 2K can make my past come back to life lol.

Do you press a trigger to face up the offensive player or is it automatic animations that happen when you get close, etc?

Can you shuffle your feet to cut off a man with the analog stick like before?

Basically, do you think the defensive options are better than 2K9?

YES! It's not a still graphic, just like Live's set up.

There is still no ability to choose to wear and away jersey while at home, also.

I don't recall seeing the "El Heat" jersey, but we definitely know they are in. I hope it's not an association only thing.

If you missed it, the Red Heat alt. jersey is just SICK. Best jersey in the game I've seen so far. The entire thing has this sheen, reflection look to it... such a beautiful thing to see. The Cav's yellow and burgundy is also a gorgeous jersey.

There is no lock on, just that crowding mechanic with LT. It closes space between you and the player. Face up is automatic.

Side note: I really hate the auto-post up. It is the single thing I absolutely hate with a passion. It's hard to post up some-times on command.

Defensively, the help defense adds the much needed in and out game. Players have "weight" to them, so it feels like you can really body up the ball handler and keep them in front of you with better defensive players. Defensively though, it's similar to the demo of 'Live 10. They still need more defensive options. Live has a challenge the ball handler mechanic by tapping the Y button (but it's broken) that I would have liked to see here
implemented correctly. The hands up move is more effective this year than in year's past.

The one on one defense is what makes this game more enjoyable for me. Don't get me wrong, however, as it is not without issues. There are times where your player gets turned around inadvertently and then you're out of position. If this happened because the CPU beat me with a move, I wouldn't mind, but it's happened because the control can be tighter.

I'm playin NBA Playoffs as the Lakers at home right now. Atmosphere isn't much different in the first quarter at least. The court has your standard NBA playoffs sigs on the hardwood, and the signage all around the court says NBA Playoffs. I will write what happens in the 4th for you.
