    Tebow hurt.

I'm sure everyone has seen the Tebow hit. ESPN has it on the ticker 24/7.

Wicked hit. Then hitting the back of his head on his teammates knee as he fell. He looked as if he was knocked out for awhile. His teammates kinda poking him/starring at him as he lay on the ground as if trying to wake him up. As of this morning not much is being reported other than it was/is a concussion. Fortunately, UF is off next week so that should give him adequate time to recuperate.

I don't remember many players missing more than a week for concussions. They probably should, but Aikman used to get concussions on a weekly basis, same with Steve Young.

And then unfortunately they play LSU the following week. I hope the kid is ok, first Bradford, now Tebow.

Once you start getting them I think they become a lot easier to get. They can really build up and impact your after-football life if you're not careful.
      NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
      NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
      MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)

Ive got a bad feeling that Sam Bradford and/or Tim Tebow are/is going to get injured this year.

Pretty good prediction by Maxattax3 in the "I've got a bad feeling.." thread.

Yea Im pretty good with predictions concerning Heisman candidates...

All that hype makes you a huge target. Defensive players just sit around and talk about how bad they are going to light up soandso... it was only a matter of time.

I read in the paper he threw up a couple of times on the way to the hospital. That doesnt sound good.

He got two weeks to recover no biggie right now
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
              Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
              Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

                Re: Tebow hurt.

A neurologist interviewed on CNN this morning said that it would be very dangerous for Tim Tebow to return to football within 3 months of the injury, if the concussion is (serious) as reported last night... went on to say that another hard blow to the head too soon could be life threatening. I wouldn't think that it would be worth the chance of coming back this season. Hopefully, he will recover in time and still go on to have a great NFL career.

And might I add that Meyer is the biggest douche bag, Tebow should not have been out there, his need to run up the score every damn week is disgusting. Hell, he even took 2 timeouts at end of 1st half while Kentucky was trying to run clock out just to get the ball back.

That was what I was getting to last night. This is Meyer's fault. He loves keeping starters in to run up the score. Like I said, I'm surprised it's taken this long.

I just don't see a guy like T with his engine that runs so hot staying out for any significant amount of time.

I don't see Meyer telling T he should sit out a few weeks for his own good.

Like the comment a few posts ago said, once you get your first...they come easier and easier. And a guy like T who runs head first, balls out...that could be bad.

Wish him the best, he seems like a great kid.

                      Re: Tebow hurt.

It really all depends on how Tebow feels in the next few days/weeks. He could show no signs/symptoms and be good to go. Or he could be out for a significant amount of time. Funny thing with concussions is you can't put a day to day or 2-4 week timetable on them.

The timeouts were called to try and block a punt that Kentucky was kicking out of their own endzone. If you watched said punt you would have seen Florida kneel the ball to end the half.

Blaming Meyer for not taking out Tebow is understandable, but you could easily also blame Florida players on the previous two plays were one erased a Td and another erased a first down. Either of those penalties had not happened then Tebow's hit never happens. We dominanted the first qtr 31-0 but did nothing in the 2nd. Keeping him in for this long they were trying to get something going with a stalled offense. You will not see any coach in any conference sub out starters with a lead after just 1 qtr, more than likely after just a half. Especially in a conference game.

                          Mack Brown on line 1...

edit: Not only does he pull players early, he(well, he and greg davis) call plays that protect the QB when they know the opponent is gunning for them.
