New Rosters will be dropped........
when? Playing on the 360 version and was curious as to when and how often? I assume the first update should be sometime this week or next since the season starts this week. Anyone? Any kind hearted comments appreciated as well as info.

I would suspect they will come out sometime next week....rookies have to play at least one NHL game before they can be included."And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea - have a POINT. It makes it SO much more interesting for the listener!" -

Actually it will be most likely like last year where they waited to see which young players were sent back to their junior teams. Which means after those players have played 9 games, some people say 10 games, but I believe the actual rule in the league is those players can only play 9 before they have to be returned or stay.
So last year we got the roster update after all the teams had played 10 games, which means after the first couple weeks of the season at least. I think we got them about three weeks after the first game last year...or at least during that first week.
So in actually 1 game doesn't put those young players in the union because they can still be sent back to Juniors if they aren't old enough to play in the AHL.Comment

i've been using petrpuck's site to update my rosters (mostly nhl) - but man, what a pain and a job and a half to do so! i've made a handful of caps and updated the rosters as of last week, but i can't even touch lines yet.
and a word on this: if you update your lines and THEN make another transaction, your entire updated lines revert back to EA's suggested depth charts. ugh...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

The first roster update with rookies came out on 10/17 last year, so mid-October is a realistic projection.Comment

I also use PetrPuck as well as each teams website for call ups/send downs and opening day rosters. I've tried a couple of other peoples sets but they're just so incomplete and/or inaccurate Petr's are really the only way to go. Of course you need a few hours to do them all yourself..Comment
