So its been over a month since madden 10 was released, what's your opinion on it?

I just kind of want to get a sense of people's overall opinions on madden 10. All I hear on these boards are people pointing out bugs and glitches, but do they actually enjoy the game?

Still fun to play theres a lot of cheeseballs online, but thats a given.

I do get a little tired of the chain gang or situations where the refs huddle up when its obvious you didn't score or even come close to scoring.

I voted "Best Madden ever - good game".

It's FUN to play this year, regardless of it's shortcomings...and that's what I'm in this for.

I have never enjoyed playing a Madden game this much...finally, a Madden title is worthy of holding my interest and playing it instead of yet another season of NFL2K5. It's not necessarily better than 2k5 yet, but it's closing fast, and at least Madden 10 is compelling to me.

There are a LOT of threads about complaints about the game, but that's okay with me to a point as long as it's not 100 threads about the same problem . The legit complaint threads help insure things get addressed since complaints are actually read by the right people here.

Some of it is haters, but a lot of complaint threads are passionate football fans/gamers that just want a great NFL experience. The devs understand that.

But nothing wrong with some positivity too, to let them know we appreciate their efforts; what we do like about the game, what they did well this year compared to last, and what we're hoping for next year.

I'm hoping that if this little poll question comes up next year, I can upgrade my choice to the top one.

overall i like it better than madden 09 but theres still work that needs to be done, i still play it, but the crappy a.i needs fixing.

I'd like to vote "Best current-gen Madden to date"

It probably is the best Madden to date, but I have such good memories of playing the last couple of years of last-gen Maddens against my friends, that I'm biased

I like how they tried to make it like 2k5. But 2k5 is still done better. they need to fix the commentators, the bad A.I. and the scripted animations engine. They need to make pro tak physics based so when my guy is in pro-tak and i run up to make a big hit. i dont just go into a lame hug animation. Commentary on highlights would hav been awesome. maybe they should watch the comparason vids ppl make on youtube with Madden 10 and APF 2k8 and ESPN 2k5. But its still kind of descent

it is the best next gen Madden, but is that even a complement?

i popped in APF last night and it is amazing to me how bad Madden is compared to that game. If that game was released with current rosters and a franchise mode similar to Madden 05 that would be a great game.

The EA developers should hang their heads in shame.

I also chose best madden--good game.

Sure there are things that could be better, but I am not one who won't complain about a game because the Buffalo Bill's helmets that they where with the Blue Jersey and White pants isn't the proper shade of blue. Not to bash, but to each their own.
I think this game is very fun and I enjoy it a lot. Sure the AI could be better, but as soon as people realize that the AI is not human they may enjoy it a little better.

EA's graphics are second to none, but I wish that for Madden 11 they would spend more time under the hood. Get blocking to be realistic, and make the CPU smarter, and have an AI learning attribute put in so that the CPU would know when I am abusing a play and setup to stop it, or that if they recognise that I always blitz on 3rd and long, that they know its coming and can call a play that will cause me grief.

I look at 2k5 and see a game that to me was not an attractive looking game, but did a lot of the little things right. With Madden I see a very attractive game, but it just needs to be tweaked to make it more realistic.

Also a quick way to make the game better out of the box is to have testers, and by this I am not saying the testers are bad, but get testers that are going to simulate 10 seasons to see where their stats are and get testers who are going to put this game through what many of these "bug hunters" do. If you just offer these people $20 off the game, you will have them lining up.

Again as I said it is a good game, but not a great game yet.

It's the only NFL game available. I still visit every now and then just to see what's going on but choose not to post mostly out of apathy. If there were a better NFL game out there, I'd definitely move on and would care less about the game. While I do think some go overboard w/their criticisms, to some degree it's to be expected when there are no other options - that drives a lot of the frustration imo.
