Love the vid. The gameplay looks even tighter and it's great to see some teams other than Lakers/Magic. I am so hyped for this game!

I bought:

LIVE 95, 96, 97, 2001, 2002, and 2003

NBA 2K, 2K1, 2K2, 2K6, 2K7, 2K8, and 2K9.

The NBA 2K series has long been more favorable to me, due to their depth of signature styles and modes.

This year, Live has created a better experience for me. The player proportions, the tight controls, etc.

I think for next year, I hope both titles continue to build. In Live, I want to see put back dunks, a better starting line-up intro, more gameplay enhancements, and more depth to the modes.

I really loved the video, but I'm just upset that the player models body scale just don;t look right to me, Shaq looked way to Skinny in that video, it's almost like every player is 20 under there real weight. Just strange. This is not the first time I have see this.

Wow guys, you're taking my words out of context.

What I'm saying is that I have been seeing "LIVE has to come back with what 2K has shown lately." We've shown you everything, there's nothing more to show . We've been here from the beginning all year talking to all of you. I said this a few months ago to remember when the comp shows you guys something with two weeks before ship to not forget all of the things we've shown you months and months in advance. I guess it's a no win situation though.

Not getting on any of you at all, I'm just trying to educate all of you on the things we've done this year that maybe some of you have forgotten. It's not us "banging back." It's our marketing department controlling when a website is allowed to talk about something. All confusion. Sorry if my "tone" seems off, I don't mean it like that.

You're right, Marcus - people have short memories. They are like cats that get distracted by shiny objects...as soon as someone shows them something new, they go running to it and forget what they saw before that. I do not suffer from this problem, however, and I still think Live is the better game even after this past week of 2k mania.

Fellas, can we get answers to the following questions about Franchise mode in NBA Live 10. A bunch of us have asked and wondered about these for quite awhile:

- Are there in-game injuries?(and if so, will these injuries keep players out for just one game or multiple games?)

- Do rookies in future years get their computer-generated name called out by the announcers(Marv, Steve Kerr, and stadium announcer) or are they just called out by their jersey #?


I'm hoping you guys can shed some light on this since the game is already complete. Thanks.

Just finished playing the demo again (12x this morning)... If I was a betting man, my chips are all in on this one.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about this game, but I can't quit playing it, and this just the demo version.

This might be the first time in 4 years that Live would be a first day purchase for me. Already, there are things that Live has that 2K doesn't such as being called for illegal screens and the massive playbook. Now this is not to say that 2K is not a good game BUT Live has made the effort to put out a SIM game and from the looks of it they have definitely turned the corner. This is not to say that I won't try 2K this year but for day one(or if I happen to get luck and get it before Oct 6) I'm going to get Live 10.

Hey, I understand. 2K has been the no brainier purchase for me for a couple of years. BUT I'm in no way, shape or form a 2K fan boy. I'm just a fan of the best basketball game. And it looks like EA might have the better game this year.
