Care to explain why? The issue here is that people think only the ballcarrier is getting tired (or "hitching"), is it not? This doesn't show otherwise?

I'm sad to report that the hitch thing is there. I thought it wasn't but I finally ran in to it twice.

Both times it was on long plays, can't remember if they were runs or passes or running after a pass or whatever. I just know I was really surprised to see it because I thought it didn't exist.

It's not a gamekiller for me though. It doesn't alter the game in any way as far as I can tell and it doesn't happen often enough to bother me.

I'm still really liking Madden though. I'm ready to start my Franchise.

Bcruise, talk to me about your sliders and what settings you are using for franchise.

I'm really liking the tuning of the run blocking. The adjustments to pursuit on outside runs and the blocking in general were redone very nicely. The run game is more viable now without being cheesy good.

Autmn, I'm really dying to start a franchise. What sliders have you settled on?

People, don't worry about the gameplay that took a turn for worse after 1st patch. After all the complaining from you guys, Ian & Co. will fix those issues that the 1st patch caused with the 2nd patch.

How do I challenge a play now? After the patch the option is no longer under coaching options. There was a fumble and an incomplete catch I tried to challenge, and the option wasn't there at all.

Sorry if it's been asked, I searched for 5 minutes.

Really? The more likely scenerio is that Ian and Co will make things even worse with the 2nd patch then they did with the 1st!

I was playing on VERY SLOW before the patch, and have left it there post-patch. I play ALL-PRO default sliders, VERY SLOW speed and find that more times than not the gameplay is solid. Yes, there are some WTF moments, but not enough to derail enjoyment of the game.

I think it's better but that's just my opinion. With sports games there are always going to be issues and if you can live with them great, if not then move on. This game is getting a ton of play in my PS3 right now and that's about all that's worth saying.

The game patch affects current offline franchises. The roster updates do not. If you want to start a franchise with the latest rosters, it has to be done after the rosters are saved.

Cool thanks for the reply,and I forgot to add whats the deal with players who's attibutes you changed before you started an offline franchise do they progress is the glitch still in affect were edited players wont progress? Like if I changed a RE to a LE or an o-lineman?Thanks for any response.

I guess I'm in the minority if I like how the game plays after the patch. It's not perfect but I can live with the issues. *shrug*

You're not in the minority. The people who like this game don't spend all their time on here complaining about it. They are playing it. I for one rarely come here anymore because all the negativity takes the fun right out of this game.

No wonder these people don't like the game. All they see is its flaws.

I actually like the game -- My main concern is the lack of ratings impact - In particular at the OL/DL level -- See the Easter Bunny and Ratings thread in the forum.. Sad really.
