It's beginning to grow on me a little bit... the less I try to do iso moves.. the less sluggish the game feels... Presentation is top notch when connected to NBA 2k10

I have a few gripes so far though... on higher difficulties, sometimes the CPU tends to get ******** passes into the paint at successful rates.. but it's not as bad as it was in 2K9 for me. I'm also disliking how successful alley oops are.. sometimes they are appropriate on fastbreaks and even in a half court setting, but sometimes there be a lot of traffic and the CPU will still get it off easy

Sometimes the controls don't seem responsive enough when I'm not dribbling the ball... sometimes I'll catch the rock, and try to pump fake, and nothing happens...

The post up gameplay is dope with what seems like an unlimited amount of things to do.. I just wish he'd do something EXACTLY when I press the LS or RS without there being a second or so delay.. It'll probably take some getting used to.

And for some reason, if I have the game installed to the hard drive and try to upload a replay directly from the replay menu, it doesn't upload properly as a replay.

But the presentation, graphics, animations, atmosphere, arena music, PA announcer, all make the game seem very life like. The facial animations are the best I've seen in a B Ball game yet.

The framerate issues are still found in the game, and i doesn't even matter what camera it's on. Has 2K admitted to this, and have they said they'll fix it via patch soon?

As for the aspects of the game, the commentators are awesome, it seems more like watching a real game with such good comments. We'll see how long this lasts.
Colours are off with some teams, such as reds as has been discussed, but the game is gorgeous.

So, while the game seems very good, but I may have to pick up NBA Live 10 becaue, even if the game is worse, I dont remember the last time their games had sooo much framerate issues, or things such as the refs passing the ball back and forth and you wait a while for the game to start again.

Peji, If you hit "A" you'll be able to skip most of those dead times with the refs. I know what you mean though, as sometimes that won't help.

I haven't found it to be an issue though.

Are you talking about cutscenes?

I get framerate issues during the actual gameplay. For example, on a iso move, on shots, etc. Ive also seen that bug from the video, where the PG in one place, and then ends up a bit behind where he was.

I hate the word, but hopefully a patch comes out soon.

I had some framerate (choppy & lag) issues as well. I use showtime or press w/ zoom on 10 & height on 3 which is the angle I prfer to play at. I have it installed on the HD & changed to picture to 1080i from 1080p. Switching over seemed to help a bit but not a lot.
Srimmages are fine but real games is where I have this issue.
Pared, I've seen u say default camera but is default actually broadcast?
Also, can u test my settings to c if u r having this problem? Thanks.

I thought the default was broadcast. Whatever it is, turn Key Zoom OFF. You should see the difference immediately.

But yes, it's there. I've touched upon in it my Q&A.

I installed the game to the hard drive and it seemed to run even choppier than from the disc, but I seem to get the most framerate problems when playing an all-star game, maybe it's because the superstars have more polygons and animations than the regular players, at any rate I hope this can be resolved with a patch.

Anyone else wanna post their experiences installing to the harddrive vs running from the disc?

Besides that, my gripes are similar, isomotion is a bit weird, maybe it just takes time to get use to it, but I just don't feel as in-control as I would like to be.

I had to put the cpu sliders for awareness and shot percentage to around 45 to keep the cpu from ALWAYS making a perfect pass into the paint and scrubs scoring like crazy (allstar level). At first I thought I needed to bump them back up, but I played some of the better teams and got really close games. I might bump them up to 46 or 47, any suggestions? Also, layups and close shots go in WAY too frequently with default sliders.

Overall, I am loving this game. The alley-oops are quite frequent though.

Here is what I have done and I experience little to no lag during game play now ...

Game is ripped to the harddrive
Cleared the cache (not sure if this helped but figured it doesn't hurt)
Using Broadcast view with Key zoom off

So far the only lag is cut scenes, not really an issue imo. So pretty much did what Pared said and it seems to work

I know theres a thread open about it, but doesnt seem people are looking.

Can someone tell me how to change the MyPlayer quarter length step by step? Not sure if you need it, but I didnt purchase Draft Combine

Change it in your options settings (options - gameplay, I think), then start My Player.

It's that simple.

Im baffled why in the hell they would let the framerate issues go another year..the 2k camera or any kind of cam close to the courts are just horrid with frame rate issues... damn it..i thought for sure they would of fixed this since last year it was so noticable. the only real playable camera's in this game are from a far back view like broadcast or anything further way...bummer

I believe I read you can play your Association game online against somebody else. Is that true?

If yes, can you set one person to CPU?

My player mode: Got drafted by the lakers played in summer league, was told I didn't get invited to training camp and to choose another team so I chose the knicks. After that I still had on the lakers uniform and I was in lakers training camp. I made the team and them the 2kinsider says welcome to training camp even though it was over. I go to check rosters and it's the knicks roster and I am a reserve on the knicks.

I checked the schedule and it was the lakers and they had already played their first game against the clippers and I was listed in the box score with 14 minutes even though I never played it. I played my first game with the lakers against dallas and the framerate was horrible the whole game for play in or around the paint.

I heard a patch was coming on the release date and hopefully it's true.
