I'm trying to switch over to 2k but this looks like it could be a BIG issue! Can something like this be patched?

Don't know what to tell you. I watched (and posted earlier) videos that looked a lot better and the D was better most of the time.

I've seen a bunch of other videos and they all look great. I've actually already made my mind up on buying 2k this year till I saw this video. When I was watching all the other vid's people post, it's hard to catch things like this when you're not actually playing the games. Once it was pointed out by Mr Smoove7182954 , I can now see how this would be a BIG issue.

Smoove has good videos and I like his explanations. But man, this "OOOO PLEASEEEE!" is getting annoying, the guy should add some lines to his vocabulary or something...
Anyway, There must be some slider set + coaching options set that can make the defense better in this game.

like i have said before

you cannot make a game without any glitches

because complex programming where the ai has to think for itself will at some time or another, glitch because of a broken event

and sometimes when you fix one problem, it creates another problem elsewhere

not to mention that there are so many events that could happen in basketball (like the ball going out of bounds a certain way or a guy being in a certain position) that it is impossible to create any measure for every single event.

but having said that, its obvious that 2k10 is an unfinished game that hasnt been thoroughly polished, and like other people have said, hopefully a patch is in order

I guess my main question here is: How often does this happen? Once a game, every 4 games? Is it really as noticeable as Smoove made it appear?

I do not think the D is bad, i think you just have to know how to defend, when i started playing the full game I was eating a many stupid points, but know I understood how does it work and i can say its a good defense overall.

its not every play, believe me, sliders fixed this entirely for me, its a 15 sec download from 2k share

its not every play, believe me, sliders fixed this entirely for me, its a 15 sec download from 2k share

Wow that was pretty random. You could have at least told us what sliders.
