Does anyone know if Wal-Mart's nationwide will have NBA 2K10 on the first day? (and whether or not it will be in stores at midnight in the 24 hour stores)

I ask because when MLB 09 The Show came out, my local Wal Mart didn't have it until the day after it was released, and when I asked about it, they said that most Wal Mart's didn't have it in stock until a day or so after the release.

All of the 24 hour Wal-Marts WILL have the game available. The game actually shipped to most stores last Thursday. Just call and make sure they have it in the back or ready to put out at midnight. They have to sell it to you.

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem. If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I'd be there at mid night too.

I haven't been to mine in a couple months or so, so if they've been advertising it, I would've missed it. Just gotta wait on this Packers/Vikings game to end, so I can make my way up there.

I just picked it up at my local Walmart thats 24/7...they had a big sign announcing the release as of 12:01 am when I walked in...made me so happy but when I got to the actual electronics section they had a spot for it on the shelf but game wasnt there...I searched and finally found a worker and asked her to get it for me...she grumbled, went to the back for what seemed like 15 minutes to the point I didnt think she would return and finally came back with the game...Needless to say im getting ready to pop it in now

I actually tried picking it up tonight after I went home from a friends place, at a 24 hr walmart, and they had some 1st day on the job girl working at electronics having to look through the back warehouse for a copy and some other customers request for a copy of another new game. I felt sorry for her. She had ps2 and xbox versions but of course ps3 was in a box they couldnt find so I have to wait until tomorrow which isnt a big deal. Walmart is disorganized and understaffed.

It was advertised at the Wal-Mart here too, walk in and the sign's right there, but they didn't have it out. Had to ask the lady working there to get it for me, she sorta resisted, I explained to her that there's a sign right where you walk in that says it's available at 12:01 today. She looks sorta pissed afterwards and goes in the back to get it, took her like 15min. I was the only person there, and then some preppy looking guy comes in line and I figured he was looking for this as well but he was looking for some anime game called bujakaki or something, made me lol.

The over night crew at Walmart comes in around 10:30pm and they always have a pissed look on their faces they just want to stock shelves and not cashier anybody LOL. But yeah Walmart is GREATLY under staffed.

I can sorta understand though. I had to work there for a month a few years back, gave me a ton of stuff to do that was impossible to do in a single shift, then made me and everyone else I worked with stay late basically everyday. That along with the tone and power tripping all the managers do. They go in and act like the job is their whole life, you're a manager at WAL-MART, christ. I mean having a job there alone is pathetic enough, but to deal with all that as well, *******.
