    Lil Something I do that helps Madden 10 out

    Just started doing this today and it made the game a lil bit better for me.

    So I was talking to my brother the other day and he was telling me about a video he saw of NBA 2k10.He said it was giving scores from other sports or something like that.Then I started thinking it would be sweet if Madden did this.

    So are any of you (Im sure) aware of the PIP function in some tv's? Picture in Picture.

    SO thats what I did.I kept Maddenn the biggest Picture and put ESPN or NFL channel on the smaller picture(in the bottom right corner) Swithched the audio to come from the smaller picture.

    So now when I play Madden I hear everything that is going on in the NFL and other sports.

    I'm thinking about combining some interviews of different NFL Players ,coaches and Leaders to put on DVD to play during this PIP thingy too!Kind of like that radio guy back on the PS2 version except it's VIDEO!

      thats awesome im gonna start doin that since im workin on getting the teams in madden there actual real nfl record and i just got done playin the vikes pack game and farve played like he did in real life awesome! i never thought bout doin what u did until now thanks!

          It really is pretty sweet.I was in Franchise mode and next thing you know ESPN was talking about the Lebron/Edwards thingy going on.

          I bet it is pretty sweet to do with what you are doing.Real interviews and everything.

              ya i've recorded NFL Replay and after madden's halftime show i paused the game flipped it over to the recorded Replay show and had my own halftime show like an extended version of all the highlights of games that were played it was really pretty cool. also after each punt, field goal, td or time out i pause the game and act like it went to commercial for maybe 30 seconds and return to the game lol i kno im weird but its fun.

                              I do something similar, except I just find some random documentary on youtube and listen to it while I play. Nothing like playing Madden while learning how your memory works thanks to BBC.

                              It's weird, whenever Madden was about to come out and first came out, there were a bunch of guys talking about how they would play with the commentary off because they thought it was terrible, and I couldn't understand why someone would do that. Now I usually turn the volume all the way down on my TV and just listen to something else. It's not that the commentary is necessarily bad, it's just repetetive after a while, and the incorrect calls can get annoying after a while (it breaks any immersion you can get when you pass for a TD and Collinsworth is talking about how you need to make people miss as a HB).

                                  sometimes when I'm watching football on Sundays I really get the urge to play Madden, yet I generally resist. I enjoy the NFL too much to be distracted by a video game. However, I do try to play my Pats vs their current opponent Sunday morning to compare how my game and the real game play out.

                                      before when i was single i would set up two tvs watch anysport that was on on the small one and play madden on the other it was so awsome i would finish a year of madden and NCAA in about a 2 weeks

                                          I use to have 2 tvs setup, 1 for Madden, 1 for NFL games.

                                          Now I put it on sirius radio and listen to that while playing. I wouldn't mind doing pip but my game room screen is too small already.
                                          I need to upgrade lol.

                                          I thought I was the only 1 that enjoyed listening watching games, while playing madden. Cool to see I'm not that crazy after all
