    Patch should hit in November

First week per pastapadre and Beluba's twitter

    Twitter
The big patch should hit first week of nov. @LBeeny
    pasta
NBA Live 10’s lead gameplay designer Mike Wang has mentioned plans for the first patch on Twitter. The patch is slated to release the first week of November. In order to meet that timetable it will probably be submitted for certification by the end of next week.

First patch? Is there going to be more than one?

Im only saying this because if it is only one patch then I'll be locking and removing the sticky for the patch thread soon, so you guys get the suggestions in while you can.

Oh well. Hopefully, it will at least have the post-up button option included. Maybe some framerate fixes as well.

Beluba said here, that FT attempts will be fixed in the next patch.

It may be speculation on his part but per pasta

The manual backdown mechanic has been confirmed ready for the patch
I do know they were already working on the mechanic so I think you're safe to assume this time that the feature will make it in.

I messed with the sliders a lil' bit, and each team usually shoots anywhere from 18-30 FT's per game, using 10-minute quarters. What will they do to fix the FT problem, I wonder?

Sounds good! Glad to know that this little snafu should be fixed in the first patch.

With FT attempts I guess it depends how you play...I turned all the foul sliders up to around 70% and I've had 3 games in a row with the Warriors where I attempted between 25-33 free throws each...I guess when the patch hits I will just turn the sliders down again

Re: Patch should hit in November

Im interested in seeing how they patch the fouls in the driving lanes. As a defender I really dont want to cause that kinda contact all the time, Id rather just be in a good position to just contest the shot and put a hand up. How will the patch help the defender that just stand his ground, how will the fouls be implemented? (I dont want to foul out just because contact was made because someone was determined to get to the hole and just forced their way there)

More charges? More foul outs? Less contact animations? Thats the only thing i can think of off hand that can come from the patch on that issue.
Yeah so in summation I don't know who you racing I'm already at the finish line with the flag waving, c'mon!

I agree. There has to be a safety net for the defender as well.
