NBA Live '13 Wishlist

Now that all reviews are up and people have had alot of time with the game let's have a wish list thread going:

my priority wishes:

1. Michael Jordan and historic teams with draft classes from every decade or year and historic moments relived

2. euphoria natural motion physics

3. realistic gathers for dunks and blocks that you manually time ie chasedown blocks

4. natural collisions in paint and not scripted animations

5. pump fake fouls with leaners

6. signature post moves

7. first person view

8. defensive stances for straffing and shadowing

9. pivot shots

10. better variety of misses on the rim instead of thr same type of bounces for specific shots

11. ability to EDIT the DNA of players so we can re-create legends etc..

being able to change control configurations so we can shoot with Right Trigger, B button, whatever we want.

Bring Back Dunk Contest, 3pt Contest, Scenario Mode, OTP Clubs, and ability to pick whoever you want for the Hanger.

Add more off court game modes, be a pro, owner mode

Create a team

Create jerseys in game

Add Dynasty cut scenes from 2004 back into the game

Have an option in dynasty to have a in-game ticker that shows scores and injuries from your dynasty. (from 2004)

Use the ESPN presentation for overlays.....

Have more than 1 court for Adidas Live Run. Hell, let us create our own court like Street vol 3.

Try and remove all 2 player canned animations

Use endorphin or FNr4 tech for collisions

Remove the invisible barrier around the court so the ball can sail into the crowd.

Add player interactions with the backboard, press, bench, crowd, scorers table, refs.

dont restrict the replay camera, let us go up into the nose bleeds if we want to.

ability to watch/spectate friend's games

and just record a crazy amount of new animations for variety

- add compression shorts, under shirt, very long sleeve
- better signature animation, continue to improve j's
- better post defense/offense
- remove cartoonish look from players, make them photo realistic
- add summer league in dynasty mode
- tip dunks / glass thrown dunks
- remove the "plastic looks" from some jersey

The presentation thing they are doing for NCAA '10 would be nice. Have it include ESPN/TNT/ABC, etc., perhaps. Also, get Kerr out of the booth (since he is a GM now), and perhaps replace him with Van Gundy or someone else. Make it have a little bit more of a natural TV presentation feel to it.

I would like to see more "little things" sort of how MLB The Show did it in their last game. That would make NBA Live extreamly authentic and good. It's one thing I liked about in NBA 2k's games. Also I would like to see dynasty mode get an overhaul and be a major focus next year. Lastly get better presentation just like NCAA Basketball 10 is doing this year.

ABC, ESPN OR NBA TV PRESENTATION



NCAA Basketball 10 will be amazing with this! Live HAS to put this in (we know EA has the resources to do so). Get Kerr out of the booth. Put in Mark Jackson, Van Gundy and Mike Breen. I like Marv though.

-A more robust dynasty mode (RFA, 10 day contracts etc)
-Fix out of bounds issues (players are out, but its not called)
-Dynamic Commentary
-In-Game saves
-Online Dynasty w/ salary cap/ Free agency etc.
-Practice Mode(w/ ability to put anyone in the hangar)
-All-Star Weekend (At least just the three point shootout and skills challenge)
-More sig shots, free throws and animations)
-Keep game play as is (just tune it a little more)
-Fix the blocking and rebounding (make it so where we can manuallly jump and get boards
-Also, fix the blocking logic (by this I mean take into account a players' height) Joe Johnson should not get his shot blocked by Derek Fisher
- Keep Expanding on the DNA Foundation. I believe that there is so much more that can be done with this.


Those are my only fixes. I am loving Live 10 and I'm happy that the franchise is on the right track. Keep up the good work fellas! Peace.

(1) Add more animations.
(2) Make playing defense just as fluid and enjoyable as playing on offense.

Also, this is a tiny thing to some, but to me its big.

Its already in this year, but i have seen things taken out of games, that were in already, so.

I LOVE the screen swipes before and after a replay that use the teams ALTERNATE logos.

Thats awesome.
Keep those alternates.
Most of em look better than the actually default logos, ESPECIALLY the Knicks./

Two main things for me...

Dynasty Mode Improvements:

1. We need to be able to control all 30 teams and play every game. The only reason I chose 2k10 over Live 10 is because of dynasty mode.

2. Stats need to be fixed. LBJ averaging 21??? Not good at all. This needs to be fixed for '11.

3. Editable Draft Classes and imported from NCAA Basketball '10. I hate having black players with yellow hair (no offense). I want John Wall, Ed Davis, etc. Would make my experience 100x better.

Presentation

1. Where's the excitement? I would like to hear some excitement when I dunk it over Shaq. Or when I hit a buzzer beater with Kobe.

2. Television Networks. NCAA 10 did it, I would really like this. TNT, ESPN/ABC, and possibly NBA TV. This would be sweet.

3. More more more lines. No more repeating lines!!!! That is probably unrealistic, but we just need more!
