Week 10 vs the Washington Redskins

My run game was slow at starting and i was down 3-0 early on.It stayed that way until 5 minutes left in the half,when i got a few good runs that resulted in a Buckhalter TD run.I got a great last drive of the half thanks to the passing game which i finished off with a TD pass to Gaffney.Im up 14-3 at the half.

In this half nobody got any momentum on offence which saw the score only change late when i got a FG with less than 2 minutes in the game.Very tight defensive battle which i won 17-3.

The defences were not totally dominant but the offences just couldn't get into scoring position.I didn't pass to much in the 2nd half because i was to scared i would throw more intercepts in a tight battle.

Denver 262 offensive yards, 134 rushing, 128 passing,2 turnovers (2int)
Washington 246 offensive yards, 82 rushing, 164 passing, 1 turnover(FR)

Sacks
Broncos 9, Redskins 0

Another win for this franchise and up next is the San Diego chargers.

Shoot NINE sacks, that worries me quite a lot. Hmm. Will get back into some testing this week.

Week 11 vs the San Diego chargers

Another first quarter where there was only a FG kicked, which was San diego.Rivers led an effective passing drive where he found Gates in the endzone to take a 10-0 lead.Another three and out from my offence gave the chargers the ball.2 plays later they were picked off and taken to the house.The very next play off the kickoff they fumble and i get another easy TD.(i hope the cpu didn't just let me score twice because as soon as they were in the lead i get two easy TD's).No more easy TD's now as i manage a FG at the end of the half.I lead 17-10

In the second half i see the best and worst of Kyle Orton as he led a great drive finished off with a pass to Scheffler.The next drive he overthrows Marshall and gets intercepted by Weddle which is taken for a TD.I add a FG and start the last with a 27-17 lead.

The chargers score an early FG to get within a touchdown.My defence holds them and i score a late TD due to the ground game.Final score Broncos 34, Chargers 20

A very lucky win due to two quick turnovers for TD's.Their offence was explosive but just couldn't score the points that were needed.Rivers passed for 323 yards and L.T ran for 120 with a 6.3 avg.Gates also had 9 catches for 89 yards and a TD.

I have been lucky a few times this year.My defence just comes up with stops before the offence can get points.Next week the broncos take on the New York Giants.

Don't worry about it because it had alot to do with the redskins offensive line.Their LT samuels (93 ovr) and RG thomas (83) were both injured for this game.

I do have a good pass rush and i play with the slider for pass rushing on 75.Also i do have great pass rushers with Dumervil and Jarvis Moss.This was only 1 game and i am currently ranked #5 in the league in sacks.

Week 12 vs New York Giants

I was ready for a tough game but too my disappointment Manning was injured for this game.Starting for him is the former #1 pick, David carr.

I manage an early TD as Scheffler catches a 7 yard pass to cap off a great comeback after a three and out from my first drive.

Defences again play great and we have to wait until midway through the 2nd for the giants to score.Bradshaw ran it in from 5 yards to level it up after good running from Jacobs.My offence responds with a TD drive which ended with a short pass to Moreno.Halftime Broncos 14, Giants 7

My offence quickly finds a groove and we get back to back TD's with passes of 44 yds to Gaffney and 14 yds to Royal.The giants can only manage a FG to end the 3rd with the broncos leading 28-10.Both defences were dominant in the 4th with no scoring taking place, Final score Broncos 28, Giants 10

This was surprisingly a very easy game.You wont believe Kyle Ortons stats, there great for even Peyton Manning.He finished up 22/28 for 285 yards with 4 TD's.Pass rating of 148.7 WOW

Didn't realise those stats until after the game.Compare that to David carr's stats of 17/34 for 179 yards and 2 ints.Rating of 41.2 Easy to know who won just from the QB's.

Once again Brandon Marshall didn't get a TD catch.That makes only 1 in the first 11 games.

Got a little distracted this last week playing Batman:Arkhum Asylum, but now it's back to Madden and here's the latest update with the sliders. Decided not to tweak anything yet and I'm glad I didn't because I got run on this game. I still got the win (34-15) , here's the stats.

If you're wondering why the score is high and my stats are low it's because I returned and INT for a TD (Z. Bowman is a stud in this area) and I also returned a kickoff for a TD with D. Manning. If you take those two freak plays out of the game, it's a lot closer.

Jones didn't have a ton of yards against me, but he put up a solid AVG and had they not been behind most of the game and kept running the ball I think I might have been in trouble.

DB your sliders are great, makes the game much more enjoyable. My only problem is that every teams running back seems unstoppable. They tend to break many tackles and pick up huge gains. I had Jason Snelling run for 174 yards against me. (Turner got injured on the third play of the game). Any suggestions.

How many games have you played so far with these sliders?
If you have played just a few games perhaps you can play a couple more and post the stats here,if this continually happens you may want to take the cpu break tackling slider down about 5 or maybe the human block shedding up about 5.

After you play some more games you will know if the running game is just too easy for the cpu,remember that these sliders are for a whole franchise so the cpu will have some big games on the ground but also have some where they get no rushing at all.

Also what team are you playing as?

Got another game in this morning, this time against the Lions. Oddly this was probably my toughest game yet, but again pulled out the win 29-21. Here's the stats.

Week 13 vs the Kansas City Chiefs

Defences played well through the first as i led 3-0.Early on in the 2nd i get a good drive going that led to a TD run by Moreno.I add two more FG's and lead 16-0 at the half.

My defence kept playing great as i score a TD thanks to a great pass to Scheffler from Orton.I Led 23-0 going in to the 4th, The chiefs offence finally gets going and they run the ball in for a TD.They fail the two points and i add a late fg to win the game 26-6.

Marshall had another great game for me as he caught 8 balls for 147 yards,but again no TD's.

Denver 460 offence yards, 102 rushing, 358 passing,2 turnovers (2int)
Kansas City 237 offence yards, 45 rushing, 192 passing,1 turnover (INT)

My rush defence shut down Larry Johnson as he had 42 yards on 17 carries, while Cassel only managed to complete 19/46.

Next week i play the Colts in a tough matchup.

Week 14 vs the Indianapolis Colts

I totally dominated the 1st quarter but i could only manage to get two FG's.I get intercepted by the colts M.Jackson and he takes it for a TD.At the end of the 1st i had 97 offensive yards and the colts just had 9,with Manning not completing a pass as he was 0/5, yet im down 7-6.

I finally converted in the redzone and got a TD from a pass to Gaffney.The colts offence gets going and they kick a FG.I get a good drive going at the end of the half and run it in for a halftime lead of 20-10.

The colts defence improves as i can hardly move the ball while their offence gets a TD from a run from Addai and they tie it up with a FG towards the end of the quarter.20-20 going in the 4th.

My defence holds out the colts early on and i take a lead with a FG.My defence plays well in this quarter and with 1:40 left i intercept Manning and take it down to their 8.Their run defence shuts down my runs on 1st and 2nd down.On 3rd and goal from the 2 they tackle Hillis in the backfield and they call their three timeouts.I kick the FG and lead 26-20 with 1:26 left.

Manning manages to drive it down to my 34 with 19 seconds left and then he fires a pass to Garcon who is tackled at the 2.They hurry up and spike it with just 2 seconds left.They line up with a singleback -3WR set.Reggie Wayne runs a slant and Champ Bailey gives him the inside, Manning throws a bullet right at the numbers and he doesn't drop those balls, TOUCHDOWN COLTS and they win it 27-26.Easily 1 of the most enjoyable games i have ever played.
