    My reaction would be like "YEAH FINALLY!"

      I don't condone EA buying the NFL license, and I wouldn't condone 2K buying the NBA license.

          Why exactly would you want 2K to have exclusive license of the NBA? It's the competition that has made both games better. Having the exclusiveness benefits nobody.

              I'd prefer 2K to buy the NFL license...in 2015 or whenever it's available...

                      Competition breeds better product. Have you not followed the football games recently?

                          My reaction would be f*** no. As much as I love 2K, I want 2 good basketball games every year so I can have a choice.

                                  Yeah, look what happend to the Madden franchise. I admit they're making little strides with Madden 10, but since they've owned the NFL license, they just updated the game and barely made any improvements.

                                      No more exclusivity! This is probably the first time in a long time that both games were credible imo. Competition was the main reason imo.
                                      EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                                          I wouldn't want that to happen. I'm gonna repeat what everyone else is saying competition is good. With competition the "we" the gamers win. 2k tried to take a license already and look what happened to MLB 2k.

                                              I love great competition it brings the best out of both companies, so no I wouldnt be excited at all if 2k purchased the NBA License.
