Hello all, I had this random idea pop into my head and I'm curious if this could become a fun project using the Madden game and interface and in turn communicate it back to the community as an entertaining read through post or blogs, etc. I thought OS would be the best place to start to find out. If anyone is interested in building a team from scratch, get back to me. Here is what I am looking for and what this craziness consists of:
(By the way, I dont post on here often, but some of you may remember me from the gamechewover 2K5 edits back in the day. If you do remember, you know that I love to mess around with these football games, so I'm hoping this can take off as much as that did

I want to shake up the NFL. Play a 32 team franchise mode with me acting as commissioner and simulator, bring in a community aspect, and just have fun with it. To be clear, I plan on playing through this franchise mode as single player, not online. I will take input and advice from the community throughout the season, factoring these ideas and styles into gameplay and simulations. Results will be posted on a regular basis.
Using the create a team feature, I'm looking for community members to make their case for what team they would want to bring (or keep) in this league. Speaking of which, we'll need a name for the league...any ideas are welcome!
Now I know the create a team logos are sparse and kind of "blah", but be creative and think of a team name and location that could work for the logo you want. I could see a league with 20 or so created teams using those logos, and the rest can be filled by current NFL teams. So its up to the community who stays intact and who gets replaced by a creative created team. Los Angeles Makos, California Bandits, whatever you can think of. After all, we need someone to come up with a west team to take Oakland's spot! (ha! - I'm kidding Raider fans)
So I'll start with that, teams and locations. We'll follow that up with division re-alignment if needed and coming up with a league name, conference names, maybe division names?...team color and jersey details? We'll see. I'm looking to have fun with the game and play something not so traditional! It will be more fun for me, and hopefully others, if community updates are posted and shared with all as it goes along. Or maybe I'm crazy and no one is interested in this, lol. Either way, get back to me with what you got.
