potential changing in chise

I drafted a qb that was 75 Ovr with B potential but after 1 season he was an 80 OVR wih A potential. I didnt know it could change and wanted to let others know and ask if anyone else has seen this?

I've never seen that. Are you sure he was B potential when you drafted him?

Yea I don't think it happens unless you change a player's position that increases his overall and goes above his potential rating. Say you had a 79 OVR LOLB with "C" potential and when you edit him to a DE he goes up to 87 OVR, then his potential would change to a "B" to coincide with his overall. Maybe you read it wrong initially?

im almost positive it was 75 B when I drafted him because I already had a young 81 A that I wasnt impressed with. And it was Qb so I didnt change positions. Ill have to pay more attention and see if it happens again.

I really hope you're right though, I would love to see fluctuating potentials so Franchise Mode isn't pre-determined.

What is the qb's name, I drafted a 75B last night in the 4th round.

Post examples if you see or remember any. I swore I was right about that qb. I posted it on another thread when i drafted him and it was def. 75 B
