The Computer Chucking Shots, Rather than Running an Offense

Does anyone else feel like the computer doesn't run many plays? I had a lot of plays where the computer will just come down the court make one pass and shoot. There are pick and rolls and what not, but I feel the computer just throws up whatever shot way too quickly.

Is there a way to fix this or not?

I have been saying this for awhile. This is the only thing that is keeping me from playing this game. I want the computer to run plays and set up there offense, no come down and put up anything. I hope they fix this with the patch.

its not an issue that needs a patch, when you look closely at the dna shooting report you see that everyone has ratings that gives them the green light on any possession

It's called the NBA. It's not about running plays. The only 2 plays that are run are, post up or isolation. If a guy gets double-teamed he might pass it to a shooter. That's the NBA game.

Seriously though i think the plays were added for head to head play. The CPU doesn't really run them because as someone pointed out they are programmed with % to take shots from spots on the floor.

Those % overide the actual plays a lot because if the CPU is in a spot on the the floor and his shooting liklehood tendency is high from that area he's going to take the shot more than make a pass.

There really is no way to make them pass up shots without lowering
the shooting tendency unless you play great defense on them and force them to make 1-2 extra passes.

But mostly they are going to shoot 80% of the time at the 1st shot opportunity.
