3 Point Spamming

Now when I play online, everyone takes 30+ 3 pointers in a 5 minute quarter game. This is ridiculous and needs to be toned down! Why not try to be realistic and mix it up damn.

Set double team to 'yes', defensive pressure tight and play offball to cover the man left open from the double. They do not still hit at the same alarming rate when the double team comes.

It doesn't have to be the Magic. They can do it with a variety of players. Most popular ones are probably the Williams brothers Mo and Deron.

yeah Mo is not that good at threes so I dont want to see it in the game.

Mo's a GREAT 3 point shooter in real life...he hit 183 last year at almost 44%. The problem is that hes hitting these in step back fashion, which will be patched thank god. I have no problem with him hitting 10 WIDE open three's in a game because if he ever got the chance to shoot that many wide open threes in real life, he could hit quite a few. Last night I hit 12 in a game with A.Morrow because the guy was double teaming the PG everytime down the floor, and with ellis there is no reason to double above the FT line because he stroke is horrible. Now I dont mind going 12-21 with WIDE open jumpers with a pure shooter, but with D.Williams it could get annoying. I actually have only played about 15 games online, and I only ran into the strategy a few days ago vs the celtics. I beat him by 18 points. I blocked his shot over 10 times with ex-capt. jack. He flow was horrible and I was able to destroy him by taking care of the ball and taking good shots. He had 33 with allen, but ellis had 34pts and 17 assists. Im not saying its not a problem, but it can be beat by playing smart ball.

I don't think it's possible to stop the step back 3 playing normal defense. If you were blocking their shot repeatedly then they weren't doing it right.

anyways, yes you can stop it by double teaming and triple teaming, but then you are leaving open one or two guys. That makes it unfair because he is getting an advantage that he shouldn't be getting. I should be able to stop him with just one defender.

I don't think it's possible to stop the step back 3 playing normal defense. If you were blocking their shot repeatedly then they weren't doing it right.

double team i tried it last night for the first time against nash...i just the set the auto double team on him and played with my PF...shut him down completely
