    Gary Hammermill

Gary Hammermill is a beast in all of my franchises. Has anybody else noticed that? He took over the Raiders in Year 2 of my Ravens franchise and he went 10-6 with Joe Flacco as his QB! Joe Flacco! I had released him early in the year because he was sitting on the bench, taking up $2 million a year. Gary Hammermill always has great teams. Does anybody know why this is?

    Re: Gary Hammermill

I am not entirely sure, but i have heard that he runs the spread formation where all he does is pass, and passing in this game is usally the way to go... I mean in my careers his QBs put up 5,000 to 6,000 yards passing 50 to 60 tds and they usally will win mvp award...

The only conculsion that i can figure is it has to be his special skills, playbook, and all he wants to do is pass, pass, and pass some more...

P.s. In one of my careers he took over the 49ers and they went undefeated all the way to the superbowl with alex smith @ QB and mike singletary leading the defense...

It's his offensive playbook, not necessarily him. I use the playbook, I end up running with mcgahee for over a hundred yards. I sim the game, Joe Flacco is a superstar. Hammermill hadn't even entered the league at that point, it's just the way the sim engine treats that playbook (Can't recall what it is atm, might be college attack?)

It is the Michigan Spread, because he is from Michigan... That is what the prima guide says...
