Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
I play with 8 minute quarters I tried to play with 12 minute quarter but the scores ended up being in the high 130's to the low 160's. I didn't know you could change any other settings.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes. -
Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
I didn't/don't either, just hoping. I tried 10 minutes and ended up playing a couple of games over 150s. That's just not acceptable to me. One game was 178-172.
I just really want to like this game. It has some great qualities to it, but there are just a couple of things I don't know if I can live with and the My Player mode is the most appealing to me, but without sliders or tweaks to get things right, I just don't know if I can do it.Comment

Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
I get good scores at 9 minutes on all star...I think the highest I got was 115...I really wish they had sliders for my player...so stupid..I was wondering why I was getting so frustrated and I noticed my sliders weren't being applied.(a while ago)..Comment

Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
Somehow I felt that in 2K11, sliders for My Player will still not be in. That mode is no different from the the Street mode they have for the game which offer no sliders at all since (like what), 2k5? Unless we make enough noice for them to actually notice. I know SimBaller drop by in here once in a while, but I felt the development team of this game is not as interactive to the fans as the team they had two years (not sure) ago before some of them jump ship to EA.Comment

Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
For those who have DC, once you start the My Player mod, you cannot change any settings anymore. So yes, you may have to start over to change minutes. Not on PC since you can edit the quarter length anytime you want. To make my summer training short, I edited games to last only 3 minutes per quarter.

Re: "My Player" players, what are your settings?
Anybody actually stop to think about y they don't allow you to change difficulty or sliders? they want all the players to be on an even playing field. if u allow ppl to change sliders, then they'll just make the game more of a cheese fest than it already is, score 100 ppg with their player and then dominate online.
As far as the ppl that change the minutes, that makes no sense to me. you get so many milestones for finishing a season, why would you want to double the amount of time it takes to get through a season? I've played through 2 seasons already on 5 mins. Sure the stats aren't realistic, but no matter how many minutes you put it on you won't get real stats.AU Class of '05. War Eagle!Comment

They really jacked up My Player..great idea, poor implementation. I'm very disappointed atm.

The majority of ua are SIM players, so sliders are needed to adjust the game play and to help get as close to realistic stats as possible.Anybody actually stop to think about y they don't allow you to change difficulty or sliders? they want all the players to be on an even playing field. if u allow ppl to change sliders, then they'll just make the game more of a cheese fest than it already is, score 100 ppg with their player and then dominate online.

I did notice that if you do not sim through the game when you are sitting on the pine, the scores do come out pretty realistic.
