When will we finally see the referee BOUNCE the ball to the player at the FT Line?

C'mon, of all the small gripes, this has to be the "biggest" "small" gripe I have. The ref gives the player at the FT line a bounce pass, not a perfect two handed dish to the upper torso.

But on topic: 2k has so many urgent issues to take care of, till gameplay is right stuff like that really can wait.

I actually find it amazing when 2K, so highly regarded for always implementing the "little things" seems to ignore certain nuances for years on end. As Pared said, this has been an issue with their basketball games for YEARS now, and yet 2K has yet to actually address it. The same can be said for their blatant ignorance towards certain jersey designs, team courts, and hair/facial models.

It's almost as if they create something, and then never go back to look over it again as the years pass to determine if an upgrade/change is necessary. Don't get me wrong, 2K has MUCH bigger issues to address on the gameplay end, but I can understand Pared's displeasure. Kudos to the developers for making such a good basketball game, but some of the things they exclude are head scratchers.

I think they just don't like the Cavs or their fans. They get gypped every year somehow.

Cavs STILL don't have the custom sound for made FTs
Cavs PA announcer is wrong
Shaq's FT routine is inaccurate
Headband issue only really affects the Cavs, since they're the only team in the league who's adamant about matching accessories to their base jersey color

The ref bounces the ball on the inbounds passes, and that gets F'd up all the time...... Maybe they don't want the ref and the player at the line playing catch for 5 minutes every time you go to the line?

I think it has to be a budgeting issue. 2K simply doesn't have the funding to be able to take time out to truly research and implement these changes from year to year. EA has the budget and company support to add all these extra details (such as 500+ authentic shoes, uniforms, accessories, etc.).

This issue and the alternate/throwback jersey issue (why don't they just include all of them?) are probably my two main "small" gripes I've had with 2k for quite some time now.

I'd accept the referee passing the ball with his nose like a seal in exchange for a pick and roll mechanic that isn't broken. They could all wear rainbow colored headbands, or have none at all if the plays ran better, and the AI didn't abandon defensive assigments for no reason.
