Re: Madden NFL 10 Blog: 2nd Title Update Preliminary Details

Everything seems to be based on trying to fix exploits in online play. I do not understand why they try to fix this so much. If you play online there are going to be people who try to cheat. I mean it seems like they break something to try to fix something something else. I can just see super human CB's who are covering the WR then warp to the flats. We already have 6'6" WR's who cant jump because of "rocket catch". If they want to Fix the Online game have someone like a moderator for these games. I do not understand why the whole game is changed just for the online play. I could care less about playing online.

Madden, like all other sports games were made to be played head to head. Competition. "Season" and "franchise" modes weren't around from the beginning. Some of us could care less about beating up on the CPU over and over. The AI will NEVER come close to playing against a real human opponent, never. That is neither here nor there though.

The GAMEPLAY and anything that is an exploit, or a glitch, is EA's responsibility to get right, or correct if they mess up. Just because you don't play online means the mass amount of other people who do play head to head should suffer?

Here's a novel idea, how about all of us, every single Madden consumer EXPECT MORE from Tiburon all around? Why can't the franchise CPU guys get everything they are looking for from that aspect of the game while at the same time they actually get right the gameplay?

There is no doubt some people will always "try" and cheat, but that doesn't mean EA shouldn't fix it, or get it right from the beginning. We are paying a premium price for these games. 59.99 is not "chump change" these days, especially when you consider for that same 59.99 you could get a REALLY great, POLISHED game like COD: MW2.
