NBA 2K10 T.V. Ratio 4:3 Problem

I never thought I will see this again but unfortunately I did. I recently bought 2K10 and played just a regular quick game and while they were doing the pregame routines, I noticed that the ice cold keys to the game apprears to be cut off at the bottom of my screen. Also other stat overlays seem to be cut off at the bottom of my screen as well. I havent had a problem like this since playing MLB 2K7. So my question is, is there a way that this problem can be fixed via patch or does it have to do with my settings on my T.V. any help will be very much appreciated

Its your tv unfortunately, most games now are only made for wide screen tv's.

bxgoods is correct about it being your TV however the second part of his statement is not entirely the case. I would google your TV make / model with aspect ratio in the line as well and do a little digging into it and see if you can find a solution or gain some insight as to why its doing it.

Why is the bottom cut off? I could see the stat thing being too far to the left and it being cut off or something, but I don't really see a reason the bottom would be cut off.

I don't play 2k though, so I don't know what the stat thing looks like.

Well it seems like it is the ratio of my T.V. I had this set since I was in the 7th grade, so Im pretty much going to have this problem until I upgrade to a HDTV which wont be until a while

I will look into that hopefully I still have the manual so I can get the model number. Hopefully I can find a solution for this if not well time to save up for that HDTV but on a positive note Im enjoying the game alot though cant wait for the patch to drop

if you are running the game on a 360, try to set its resolution to 480p. this way the game is rendered in 4:3 and you won't have a problem with screen height being strechted and part of the screen being cut off. you just have to live with the graphics, though.

if you are running the game on a 360, try to set its resolution to 480p. this way the game is rendered in 4:3 and you won't have a problem with screen height being strechted and part of the screen being cut off. you just have to live with the graphics, though.

man unfortunately setting the resolution to 480p didnt work out and thats only for HD settings so it didnt work my my T.V. since its a SDTV. Ohhh well just have to save up some extra cash for a HDTV.

maybe its only for 360 its acctualy proper this year for me on ps3 and im also using 4:3

yeah that sucks for me that im still gaming on a SDTV but i will upgrade soon
